Online multiplayer in a game from a different region?

Hi all, just want to ask if I would be able to play a game online whose region is different from my account's. Eg: I have a US PSN account and I want to play a game of region 3 online. Is this possible? Thank you.

Hi Nghia2518,

as far as I know, most of the games are region free. That's to say, you can import them with no concerns. However, all PSN codes, DLCs included, are country locked. Example, titles from the US will only work with US DLC codes. Also, US DLC codes will only redeem from US PSN accounts.

Thank you for your reply. I guess this would be better known by trial. I'm looking to get a Metro Redux copy but it's Region 3. I hope all the DLCs are on-disc?

I have Metro Redux. The DLC is actually integrated into the game,extra chapters.

Thank you, that's a relief. I have had trouble looking for a region 1 disc for the game.
