I find it very interesting how they are doing Windows 10. I remember reading a while back (and refound the articles, lol) that they are saying this is the last revision to the Windows family, at least for the foreseeable future (I guess until some major leap in technology happens). They basically engineered Windows 10 to be multiple components (like the start menu is a separate part of the OS than the settings than the window component, etc) so then they can only release updates and tweaks for very specific parts for very specific versions (for desktop, phone, tablet, etc). Very interesting way they are doing it this time around and it seems like this may pay off. This way if people are unhappy with the start menu for example, they can fix it and only update that instead of revamping the whole OS. Wonder what this can mean for customization.
