The Last of Us 2 is in the works (according to voice actor)

Well,we could have all guessed this,a top selling game like The Last of Us would have no doubt got a sequel.
And rather than a PS3 port like the first release we can all presume that this time its being made with PS4 in mind so should be really good.

A sequel to Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed The Last of Us is in production, according to voice actor Nolan North.
North, who is known for providing the voice of Uncharted's Nathan Drake, was asked if he was working with Naughty Dog on any more projects after Uncharted 4: A Thief's End at MetroCon.

"For now, [Uncharted 4] is the last one," he replied. I know they're doing The Last of Us 2, but my character in The Last of Us... untimely demise."
North is referring to David, a leader of a group of survivors in the the first The Last of Us.

Yeah, I ain't exactly shocked that they are making another one. Interesting whether or not they'll continue with Joel and Ellie or will they pick new characters.

Well if I had to guess, I would say it would focus more on a grown up Ellie. Joel might make a few appearances, but I would imagine he wouldn't be playable.

I'm not a big fan of sequels, no matter how great they were.

I hope they dont continue with Joel Ellie formula and change the pace/story.

Like Haze said, grown up Ellie would be more interesting.

See I think you might want to find another duo or maybe even trio because I think a sequel with Ellie might not hit the same as the original. Mind you, I've said that about Naughty Dog's Uncharted series and each game has blown me away.

That's not Naughty Dogs style. They are not known for rushing games. They are well known for quality games and really putting in the time to make sure its done right. That's why Uncharted 4 isn't out. It was supposed to be released already but they delayed it to put extra time into it.

You are right Titan. I've liked Naughty Dogs collection of games and they never seem to fail. I was just saying that I hope they don't lead into that.

March 2016. Don't know about a definite date. But enjoy the game. It's supposed to completely end the story and no more Uncharted games will be made.
