Outer RIM DLC release date

Battlefront's first paid DLC map pack Outer RIM is due March 22 for season pass holders and April 5 for everyone else.
It has 4 new maps,new game mode also some new weapons and star cards.

Anyone played this yet? Is it worth the money??

I just bought the first map pack yeah.
Doubt I will buy more..only cause as has been mentioned before the game can feel repetitive more quickly than other MP games and the upgrades/unlocks are not as vast as other MP games so at the moment I can't see my myself playing it for a long time.
At least they have raised the level cap now,to 60 though. That will keep some going a bit longer.

Anyway,Ive only played on a few of the new maps now...all I can say is so far it's 'OK'.
I would say unless you play the game a lot still perhaps its not worth it. But again,I only had 1 quick go on a few so havent really had the chance to play them thoroughly yet.

btw: The last 8GB patch update had the maps so if you buy it you only will download a 1MB key thing,which will unlock the maps for you,you dont have to download them seperately.

My fav mode is still Fighter Squadron though.

Good stuff to know Oberon. I kind of suck at playing most any games but I enjoy trying (being in my 60's kind of slows down my reaction times). And I REALLY SUCK at Fighter Squadron. My grandson has a few laughs when I try it and crash or get shot down ever few seconds!

Well,I didnt say I was good at it either...I just said it was my fav game mode
I have had a few good games,some bad ones but mostly average ones.
Once you get the hang of it though...damn it can sure be fun.

Mine too.

I bought this game for my daughter, she is loving it and she plays it a couple of times a week. I've begun to play it too recently and I'm liking it, not bad at all.
I suck when I fly with the X-wings but it's a lot of fun anyway... I still have to understand if I like to be asskicked by the kids though...lol.
