Disc drive question

Hey all just have a question i get mixed answers about. Once a game is fully installed from the disc does the disc spin while playing? Or does it only spin for a few seconds upon putting the disc in. Some people have said it runs completly from the hard drive once installed and the disc dosnt spin or anything

The disc spins for a few seconds when you start the game because it works like a key-code to validate your game. The game is fully installed on the HD so the disc should stop spinning soon.

I think it may depend on the game. I've definitely heard it spin while a level was loading.

I noticed it too while playing Final Fantasy X-2. Probably it happens only with remastered (old?) games.

I'm going to say no because I don't own any remasters
