What was your first PlayStation game?

Technically Final Fantasy VII. I say "technically" because it was a burned copy that my brothers and I played on the computer :P The first legitimate PS game would have to be Driver.

Ubisoft reveals Valiant Hearts: The Great War for the PS3 and PS4

Wow. I'm a huge fan of the art style, cartoon-y but meant to be taken to heart. Pretty refreshing from all the other world-war based games where realism is the Modus Operandi.

    Favourite retro console?

As much as I loved the Sega Genesis and the N64, I don't think a retro console has eaten as much of my time as the GameCube. My brothers and I together sported a monstrous library, with titles ranging from sports to sci-fi adventures to RPGs. Even Smash Bros Melee alone has accounted for the...

Pokémon X And Y Pre-Orders Reach 260,000 Units In Just Two Days

Wow, I know Pokemon still had a lot of popularity, but that is beyond absurd. I guess a whole new generation of children are just discovering the pocket monster phenomenon. Do they still make the show?

'FIFA 14' Free With Xbox One Pre-Orders In Europe

Do you think you'd get any buyers? Especially since so many people are getting them for free... I can understand why they only did it in Europe. I wish they'd do the same thing for Canada and the NHL series.

Namco Bandai announces free-to-play Soulcalibur: Lost Swords

Sweet! I'm a fan of the Soul Calibur series (particularly the Gamecube one with Link), and having one free to play would be amazing. Oh. Maybe I'm not so excited now.

PS3 games that you think will be remade for the PS4?

Every good answer I can think of would be better served as a sequel instead of a re-introduction. Like Heavy Rain, or the Last of Us, my two all time favorite Sony games. I think Heavy Rain would especially benefit from an upgrade, but then again I would rather just see a new version.

Will The Last of Us ever come to PS4?

Somewhere down the line I see it being made available to play on the PS4 as a classic title (not physically but digitally). As for moving the franchise forward, I hope they build off the world they created. I am a huge fan of Naughty Dog and the incredible work that made the game such a blast to...

    Favorite GameCube games

Super Smash Bros Melee was no doubt my favorite. I also loved Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, the NHL games, and the James Bond games. Despite coming behind Microsoft and Sony in that generation, they didn't lose out too hard (they ended up selling 22 million units compared to the Xbox's 24). There...

Oculus Rift devs hoping for "Matrix-level" virtual reality

True enough. I guess full immersion of all 5 main senses is much too impossible to implement in our current age. In fact, it would probably be much longer than just a decade before we see total sensual simulation.

How Long Do You think it will take for the PS4 to begin dropping in Price?

It will take longer than the PS3's first price drop, that's for sure. Having it start $200 cheaper than the previous generation means there will be more people who are able to access it, thus reducing the reasons for a price drop until much later.

Do you think online play will support more players on ps4?

That would be cool. I had a blast playing MAG, the game play really felt organized and team-oriented. I would love to see a company expand on that theme of "quantity".

PS4 Is 50% More Powerful Than Xbox One, Developer Confirms

I don't know, how much of a difference could it make in terms of enjoyment? I realize it's an edge for the companies to aspire to obtain, but I haven't really found something like processing power affect my opinion of a console.

What was your favorite gaming moment on PS1?

I remember the first time playing through FFVII. My brother had somehow obtained a burned copy that could be played on the computer. Well, it worked up until the Weapons awakened, where it would freeze and refuse to continue. That was very saddening and left a lot up in the air. Recently, I...

Is the PS3 going to see a drop in online users?

Naturally it will dip a little bit, but there will still be a lot of people who didn't get the PS4 right away. Gamers will stick to PS3 until they "upgrade". It will take a while for the user base to dwindle.

Games that would make good movies

Uncharted would be fantastic, though the world's fascination for Indiana Jones-esque adventures might have soured after Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I would still watch it, no doubt. Heavy Rain would be outright incredible with the right actors.

What was your favorite RPG on the PS1?

Final Fantasy VII, it was the first non-Pokemon RPG to completely captivate my interest as a younger gamer. I really liked the uniqueness of the enemies and the customization of your character roster was deep.

    Your first gaming console

Sega Genesis was the first console I ever played on. We had a bevy of selections at home, including Mortal Kombat, Outrun, X-men, Sonic, Shinobi. It was the console of my early childhood, and it was the N64 that succeeded it with its 3 dimensional gaming.

Saints Row IV: The $1 Million dollar edition! No, I'm not joking either...

True. One million dollars can buy you a lot more than what they are offering. There are so many better things to do with that much money....

Will the Madden Franchise finally take a step forward in the new generation?

What is there left to introduce? There isn't much to do but make a few parameter tweaks and adjustments to make it more realistic. They can't fundamentally change what they've got, particularly since people will be asking for innovations on that scale year after year. There isn't a lot of design...
