I get your logic here. But remember that Final Fantasy did not start out on a Sony system, it started on Nintendo. I think it is safe to say, however, that Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 10 are at least in the top 5 all time best FF games, all of which originated on the Sony Playstation platform.

Agree 100% with FF and Metal Gear. Both titles have held strong since Nintendo was first introduced.

IMHO, if you paid to play the game, you shouldn't have to pay extra for an online network to play your game multiplayer. At $60 a game nowadays, you would think that price tag would cover all the features of the game. PSN > pay to play XBOX

In my opinion, Sony has always had the better gaming titles, as well as the better controller. However, you're quite right, it's hard to compete with Microsoft on the multimedia side of the equation. But who needs a GAMING CONSOLE for multimedia?

I was a proud owner of both systems. But... I played the PS2 WAY more. The Dreamcast had the potential to be great, it just didn't have the developers on their side.
