About the UI we all thought wouldn't change...

Well, it looks like there will indeed be a new UI for the PS4. That's the rumor at least after some potential images popped up online. Changes include the ability to create folders on the home screen and create a folder for your favorite games. Notifications will be more prominent than before, and the whole UI should get a cleaner look. If this is all true, then that person who started the thread about changing the UI had some pretty good timing. Thoughts? I'm assuming this will make most people happy.

P.S. It's supposedly due out by the end of the year.

Great news, I always felt that the UI is a little bland and lack some options. If this is true then I can't wait, it's going to be great from what is stated in the article. I just hope that it's ironed out and won't be a bug and glitch fest when it's out.

I figured it would change eventually, I mean it has to... it is kind of bad as it is. I like the idea of folders though... interesting to see what else has been improved saved for what was mentioned in the article.

I hope that there will be more features and more customization with this new UI. Looks very promising already but it looks a lot like Microsoft's Metro style. Let's hope it's not going to filled with ads like the Xbox One's crappy dashboard.

These are definitely fake. They popped up on reddit by some guy claiming this but wouldn't cite his source so everyone even though they liked the appearance of it were sceptical and said it was fake. You could also tell that the Killzone picture has the "RP" logo on it which seems stupid for Sony to mistakenly do. I think the site you linked anyway has confirmed it's fake .

They look cool, but I'm still skeptical until Sony officially announces it. These could easily be made by someone in Photoshop, but if it is real, I think it's a great step by Sony to include the community in their decisions.

The site updated and said the screenshots are indeed fake. Well, what a disappointment I was really hoping to see a new UI. Maybe Sony is planning a new UI but it's not like that. There's still hope.

Ahh, I just made a post about this. This really excites me. The blue is tiring, the background music is annoying and the accumulation of games on my dash are getting a bit tiresome to scroll through. Another thing they should probably work on is the PS Store. Instead of giving a description when we highlight it, they should just show us top games. Anyone else understand?

Now when will they allow us to play CDs and DVDs? Or even give us app options like Pandora and Spotify? That's what I'm looking forward to.

I think the U.I they have already is a bit to bland.
