I am new here and in the process of making the switch from Xbox One to PS4. I have my PS4 already ordered, X1 on sale on Ebay and even preordered some games like Metro Redux. Things will probably overlap and I will have both at the same time.
I have had my Xbox One since since Day One and honestly a lot of things that made me choose the Xbox One over the PS4 are gone for me. I always figured the PS4 is a better overall "gaming" unit, but the Xbox One did a lot more so thats what I got.
Some of the reasons I choose the Xbox One was kinect looked sweet in all the demos, tv features/giude, snap windows, apps and everything all in one. Of course games and online multiplayer are a big reason too.
As of today, months later, I stopped using kinect due to no games and lots of problems, the TV guide and controls are OK but not all I thought they would be so I don't really use them anymore, snap windows I use a little but not enough to really care if it is there or not, apps are still nice but some are hard to use with the controller so I usually end up just using the ones in my TV or TiVo instead.
So now I use it only for games which takes away a lot of reasons I first bought it. The PS4 seems to have a edge for just games, so that's why I am switching.
