Anyway to get game save back

I had a question I'm kind of new to the ps5 and was playing God of war and had signed into my psn and I guess that I had also signed in as a guest on my ps5 so I turned the game off is there anyway to get that saved game data back or am I screwed but I really don't want to start over
Any help is appreciated

i have added account as secondary I am clueless how the backup and restore works. I am NOT logged in as guest. Sony should make it user friendly to at least understand how the save progress works.

If you had PlayStation Plus and had cloud saves enabled, you should be able to retrieve your saved game data from the cloud. Head to the PlayStation Plus menu and select "Cloud Storage" to see if your data is there. If you didn't have PlayStation Plus or didn't have cloud saves enabled, then unfortunately, it's unlikely that you'll be able to recover your data. Try contacting Sony's support team to see if they can help you. Or you can buy a good account and not be nervous that the last one didn't save. When I lost my Clash of Clans account, I purchased an account at >zap<, so I wouldn't have to start again. Anyway, good luck and all the best.

If you still have access, I would go into the guest game you were playing, make sure your save game is there, then go into the settings, upload he game into the cloud, then go into your main sign on, go into the settings again and download that data back in. Should work.
