Are you more inclined to get an Xbox One now?

When the Xbox One was revealed at E3 it was pretty clear that the PS4 is simply the better deal here . But the recent changes and announcements had me thinking. The always on DRM is gone , no kinect is now necessary , used games are fine so really the Xbox One is quite similar to the PlayStation 4 . I think that I will still be going with the PS4 simply because of brand loyalty, but a lot of newcommers might be seriously torn between the two. What are your thoughts on this?

I'll still be with the PS4. Nothing what-so-ever has convinced me to grab an Xbox One. Just because they turned most of their policies around doesn't mean you should trust them. If they announced these restrictions/rules before they turned them around, nothing is saying they won't implement them in the future. And as I've said many times before, they have left a sour taste. Which is a shame as I was a loyal Xbox fan once upon a time. True story...

Maybe, maybe not. Still can't decide unless I see some reviews on the console. As of right now, it's looking positive for the Xbox One at the moment. They turned their policy around, but still left a sour taste like Haze said, but they are making good decisions the past month to compensate for the bad decisions they have made at E3 with all the policies and whatnot. I probably lost my respect for Microsoft and their decisions at E3, but I'm slowly gaining more and more with their good decisions. If they do make another bad decision that is huge, I probably won't be buying it, even if there are great reviews.

Only the first xbox was great,2nd...meh...OK I guess but the Xbone has nothing over the PS4 at all.Exclusives? erm...no bar the Halo franchise I bet other (actually good) games that are 'exclusives' on the Xbone will at some point come on the PS4.

Well, it sure sucks less now. But the Playstation systems get all the Japanese games, specially NIS games and it's looking like even Arc System Works will start being PS-exclusive with BlazBlue: Chronophantasma. So PS4 has better potential exclusives for me. Also, Sony's first party games are great exclusives. And Plus is a great service.

Nope, not even the slightest.
They did fix a lot of the wrong stuff, but still, i think that Sony did good with the Playstation 4, from the hardware to the software, so i am pretty sure where my money is going to end up going towards to.

The playing field has been leveld significantly. I think the Playstation 4 is still just a little bit better. I'm planning on picking it up but I'm dying to try out the Xbox One controller though. I'm going to miss my Xbox 360 controller...
