Battlefront 2 will have SP campaign

So seems it's confirmed.
Star Wars Battlefron will have a SP campaign as well as content from other Star Wars era's.

CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that this game is coming out in holiday 2017. He said this game will be even "bigger" than the 2015 original, featuring more locations and hero characters. It will also have a single-player campaign, which EA had previously strongly hinted at.

Additionally, Wilson said Battlefront 2 will feature content from "multiple Star Wars eras." During the call, he specifically called out The Force Awakens and Rogue One as films that expanded the series, though he did not outright confirm Battlefront 2 will feature characters and locations from these films.

Also during the call, Wilson confirmed that Battlefront 2 is being made by DICE, Motive Studios, and Criterion.

Wonderful! As nice as Battlefront was to play, the lack of campaign caused me to not play it after a month. The multiplayer was ok but with the balancing issues they had, I got jaded with it quickly and was tired of getting killed by the grenade launcher douchebags and the pistol a-holes. Having a campaign like the original PS2/Xbox versions would likely still have me playing it. I think I may give this one a go, but doubt I'll preorder it, since I'm not as hyped about the series anymore.
