Cannot log into my account?

So tonight I was ready to play some BF4. I waited for an update to finish for the game before playing it so I went into "Live on Playstation" and all of a sudden, my PS4 seemed to crash. It just all went blue. The background music was still playing. I would hold down the PS button on the controller and all that came up was the life of the DualShock 4 and my name. So I had to manually shut off the PS4.

I then turn it back on and now I can't access my account. My whole PS4 had reset itself back to factory settings it seems as everything has been wiped and I tried to download my profile again, but I can't access it as it comes up with "Sign-in address or password is incorrect" - which trust me, I know it's correct.

Can anybody tell me what the heck happened?

It sounds like your PS4 has had an internal error that's really stuffed up your PS4. I can't say exactly what has happened, perhaps phoning up support and speaking to them, as obviously they'll know best.

One thing you could do is re-format your entire system and then re-install everything. Perhaps doing this might solve whatever bug you've got. I've read on the support forums of Playstation that this is a somewhat frequent error in PS4's.

Thanks for the advice. Tried reformatting the PS4 again, but nothing. Doesn't seem like it's a PS4 problem now, seems like it's my actual account that has problems.

If you ever go on the PS4 sometime soon, can you let me know if I'm still on your friends list? Or if any activity on it?

One thing that struck me as odd yesterday is that in my notifications I had a FR from you, when I went to accept it (even though I had already accepted it a few weeks back) it wasn't there!

I checked the PSN mobile app and your other PS3 account is in my friends list but the your new PS4 one isnt there.

I haven't contacted Sony yet, looks like that might be the next step.

So I went onto my PS4 today and guess what? It froze and wiped everything again!

Good grief! So fudge it, I'm just going to make a (another) new account. Look out for a FR Oberon. What's this now? Account number 103?

Sorry to hear that mate,if it happens again perhaps format/reinitialize (again) and start as new,if then it happens again then perhaps a replacement PS4 is in order.

Looks like your account might be in the locked/banned phase? I heard that some consoles auto format when logged into when they're marked for hacking or exploits... Not too sure why they would take this approach, but you definitely need to contact Sony.
