Cod4 On PS4?

Just a quick question would you guys want a re-release of cod4/mw1 i think its a good idea obviously with a few tweaks and of course up to date graphics,servers,etc...id deffo put some time in the game i still think its the best one to date in my opinion?

It's an all time great game, but there's no use re-releasing it when there's a new CoD every year. It was revolutionary for its time because it added RPG elements into online multiplayer. But now, every FPS has that and it takes away the novelty considering how old it is. In the unlikely event it's remastered, then it'd need to be released like BF 1943 was.

I heard remors a while back it may get released as a downloadable only game, HD remaster for PS4,but nothing came of it.
Would OK I guess but I dont see it happening either.

Hmm,perhaps it could be added in a CoD Advanced Warfare Hardened Edition,lol..there's thought.
Like Call of Duty Classic was,with Medal of Honor I think it was and released on PSN store later to buy for all.

Yep. Agree with this. Although it is the best COD game (the game was what got me into gaming again back when it was released), there doesn't seem to be a reason to re-release it as COD's come out every year.

I think remaking a last gen game for this gen is kind of waste of resources and time.

Remaking a PS1 or PS2 game, now that would be awesome.


While CoD4 was the best CoD, I think its better they focus on making a better new CoD than just remaking the old one and hope people have same excitement they had 5-6 years ago.

I miss playing CoD 4, those times when killstreaks were just the basic ones that your team needed and everything seemed pretty balanced. Crash and Backlot are great maps too, I had intense SnD matches there.
