Crash Bandicoot 3 (PS1)

Crash Bandicoot 3 is the best Crash game ever made - even better than the PS 2 game Wrath of Cortex! I've spent hours playing CB3 because I was a completionist back then. I collected all the gems and crystals to unlock the 5 secret levels of the game. It was definitely worth the hard work. The graphics were also pretty good and seemed to push the PS 1 to the limit. Overall a fun fun game.

It was the first I game I got and played when I got my PS1. It was pretty difficult for a 7 year old, but I still really liked it. I remember thinking the game looked amazing. Particularly the part when you play as Coco in the water; I thought the water looked real lol

Lol, yeah, I used to marvel at the water effects of the jet-ski levels that featured Coco. These jet ski levels were some of my favorites too! Most of the levels at the start were very easy but the difficulty ramped up by the third level. But at least, Crash learned new moves and abilities along the way. My favorite is the rocket launcher which made collecting fruits and killing enemies a lot easier. Still collecting all gems and crystals to unlock the bonus level could be an impossibly daunting task for a 7 year old.

Pretty much, i still prefer the PS1 games to the PS2 games from this old time classics, Spyro being another one. Crash 3 will always be my favorite one and the one i will come back year after year to have a good time.

My memories of the first few Crash games is a bit sketchy but I remember loving the hell out of Crash Bandicoot 3. One of the best graphics for a PS1 game and some very interesting levels. The only annoying thing I remember about the game is that my younger brother who was 8 at the time was better at the game than me.
