DCUO not to require Playstation Plus

Really cool to see they're making it F2P AND you can transfer your PS3 stuff over. This is online handled right. I've only messed around with this game, but I'm tempted to play more now in the wake of this announcement. Does anyone play now? Do you like it? How does it compare to WoW?

I have not played DUCO on PS3. So, I don't know how it plays, but from what I could learn from playing the PC version for few hours, it was really awesome. The most compelling aspect is definitely the real-time combat system, which make the game more fun to play.

It would be interesting to see how the transaction fares. I believe that it would get more players, because it doesn't needs PS Plus subscription to play. That's so kind of Sony. It shows how much they care for gamers.

I would also love to know how DCUO is on the PS3. I tried to download it once but the download was taking soooooo long that I gave up! (around 12GB)

That is cool and all, but, will i still be locked away from getting trophies before buying something first? Because that 0% ruined my trophy list and they didn't even warned me about it.

I'm probably going to install it for the PC shortly just to see if I like it. I might play it for the console. I've heard really good things about it, though, but I haven't seen an MMO come along to dethrone WoW yet. I had such high hopes for Star Wars: The Old Republic, but it kinda fell flat.
