Destiny Beta will be coming to both PS3 and PS4 first

As well as the announcement of a new Uncharted title hitting the PS4 during Spike TV's Playstation 4 All Access Event, Bungie have announced that their upcoming highly-anticipated title Destiny will be having a Beta. And what's better (for us), the Beta will be coming to both the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 players first.

Unfortunately, this won't be an open beta. But if you have pre-ordered Destiny, you are guaranteed entry into the closed Beta. As well as that, Bungie have been sending random gamers beta codes it seems so be sure to check your email inboxes!

We don't know as of yet how much earlier we will be getting the Beta, be it a day or a week - maybe more, but stay tuned!

Smart move to have it both for the PS3 and the PS4 since some people might be shaky with the transitioning from one console to the other. Uncharted 3 was awesome in my book, and I wonder how they’re going to top that with the next installment.

I guess the worry over pre-ordering Destiny to get a beta code will be relieved partially with the random releases through email. Just hope this won’t irritate those who went through so much just to get it pre-ordered to have a higher chance of getting a code from retailers.

Bungie is awesome and I know their game will blow our minds. I will hopefully be playing it on my PS3 (Even more hopeful that I can get a ps4 someday)

Good for Sony. It's a great way to move more consoles and remind people that Destiny exists because until someone on the board mentioned it, I had completely forgotten about it. I'm really excited to see the beta, Destiny has so much promise that it'll be interesting to see what it's really like and if it can start living up to the old and now new hype.
