Diablo 3 on the PS4 in 2014

I'm very interested in this, I never thought that they can implement MMORPG's on consoles. There are just so many different combos you can pull off, I'm wondering if there are enough for the controller. Anyways, I'm a real fan of MMORPG's, so if it does release for the PS4, I will be getting it to test out the controls.

Diablo 3 will convert "click, click, click" to "mash, mash, mash" on current-gen consoles on September 9, but the PS4 won't let the evil in for another year.

Personally, I think MMOs should be playable only on PC. Even though there have managed to adapt the support of the PS3/PS4, communication will not be great.

No communication with the other players, it loses some of its playability. The keyboard is something essential. That's not all the players who will connect a keyboard to their TV.

I really advise people to buy this game on PC only ..

I'd have to agree with Picki, if you're going to play an MMO it should really only be on the PC, though Diablo isn't really an MMO. Also all the actually MMO's I've seen on Playstation seem to be easy shooting like Dust or simple like Freerealms. If you want to get it on Playstation then it's your call but I hope you'll consider everything when you decide.

Not really sure if this is a great idea. Diablo 3 turned out pretty bad in comparison to Diablo 2, despite it doing quite well in terms of sales it is not that good of a game in the first place , and a terrible sequel. What I hope they would do is what CD Projekt Red did with the Witcher 2 when they brought it to the Xbox 360, revamp it and add new content to make up for releasing it late. I think that could work, maybe take some feedback from the fans and add some extra content.

I like the transition to console. I mean starcraft was on console and it wasn't hard to play So why would Diablo 3 be hard to play.
Only place I think they are messing up is not having the same rules as online play and having the same player base.
D3 is the biggest sold game ever for the PC so I only imagine what its gonna do for the PS3 and XBOX consoles.

I don't think it should be PC only but I agree that such games play better on PC. I don't expect too much, the game is kinda old already.

The Diablo franchise is not MMORPG. It is ARPG, Hack'n'Slash Dungeon Crawl.

I already play Diablo III on my PS3 and it has improved a lot from the PC version.
Also for the person that compared DII with DIII. Why? Seriously Blizzard tried to improve it they just had some bad "leaders" that made the bad decisions. Also if you had played DIII (on PC) the last half year then you would see it had been improved a lot.

But Diablo isn't a MMO... i blame everyone in the industry for making MMOs out of everything nowadays, and then realizing that they don't know how to make a good game and drop it all together in less than 2 years from a subscription based service to a Free2Play one.

A lot of people i knew played Final Fantasy XI on their PS2, and we got pretty much the same experience.

Well, I for one really loathed this game for the uncalled for online DRM which was imposed on PC gamers. I am glad that consoles are getting offline mode.

They need to fix the cluttered inventory, especially in split screen multiplayer games. Aside from that and obviously implementing the new expansion, this game should be great. I played in PC and briefly on 360, fix the problems, and I'll come back for ps4!

I'm not thrilled because I already own it on PC but it's an interesting thing to do. Honestly it couldn't hurt and it does depend on when they release it. A lot of the delayed games for the PS4 are being released in Spring of 2014 so making this a release before the fall launches would be great.

any updates on the migration for everyone that has the PS3 version? A friend lend me the game and omfg, I'm totally addicted to it, I'm even considering of buying it if it's possible to upgrade it via a small fee.

Playing an MMO on the console seems weird...
I like Diablo but I'll just keep playing it on my computer, because the mouse and keyboard is much more efficient.
