Take a stand as one of humanity's last defenders as hell is unleashed on PS3.

  • Return to the mystical world of Sanctuary and embark on a quest to investigate a fallen star â?? a dark omen that the End Times have begun.
  • Defend mankind as a barbarian, demon hunter, monk, witch doctor or wizard and unleash devastating powers against the hordes of the Burning Hells.
  • Lay waste to legions of demonic creatures, improve your character's powers and abilities, plus uncover new quests in a vast fantasy game world.
  • Brave the dangerous lands of Sanctuary in a solo quest or form a party of up to four heroes, either locally on the same screen or via PlayStation Network.

Wow! Wasn't expecting them to implement this game in it! Pretty cool idea, but I wonder how all the controls would work. There are many hotkeys which you have to use in the PC version, and from the looks of it, I only see 6 on the hotkey bar. Anyways, I'm probably going to get this game if I get the PS4, I'm a huge fan of MMORPG's.

I've never played Diablo, nor do I really play MMORPGs, but I've been looking into playing one recently. I might want to check this out but I'm still a little doubtful that controls will translate well to a console controller. Also, it feels like this is the first time I'm hearing of an MMORPG being sold on a console, is this the first? If it is then now I'm really interested to see how this plays out, since it could potentially open a lot of new doors.

Well, you could count "Defiance" but that's more of a MMO Third Person Shooter.

I mean, the original PC release was pretty... mediocre, to say the least, in comparison to previous instalments in the series, so i don't know if this would be something to look out for, at least in my opinion.

It's interesting, but that's all it is sadly. Diablo 3 was a huge disappointment on the PC, at least compared to D2 or Blizz's usual standard of games. It's interesting because I'm wondering, and I bet everyone else is too, how the controls are going to work and how fluid they're going to be. A lot of monsters and bosses require pretty decent micro management, which can be very precise with a mouse and keyboard. It'll be a bit more of a challenge on a console. So they'll probably have to tune a few things down. This will increase the difficulty in Hardcore as well. I'll be on the lookout for videos on how it plays, I'm curious.

Yes! I can't wait to get this when it comes out. I'm not one to purchase new games upon release but I really liked the original Diablo and want to see the improvements that have occurred over the years. The game looks amazing and playing with a controller (a Playstation controller at that) can't be more sweet. Kudos Sony for snagging a big one.

I really wonder how this will go down on a console. Like RTSs console controls really aren't designed for that sort of fast-click gameplay. Diablo really isn't a twin-stick shooter, especially on anything past Hell difficulty. I wonder how they'll handle fire-chains and vortex mobs.

I'm curious about this as well. Diablo 3 was a pretty big disappointment -- I played through it in a weekend and quickly got bored after beating it the first time. And, as previously noted, the controls are very different. Maybe if they revamped the game substantially to make it really fit with the PS4, but then would it even be the same game? So many questions. Not something I'm going to run out and buy right away, though, to be sure.

Maybe Diablo III for the PC did not generate enough sales. That's probably why they're ported this game to the PS3. Anyways, I think that Diablo 3 was a pretty great game and would do pretty good on the consoles. Yes, the controls would take a little bit getting used to but it would feel natural after a few hours. Yes, keyboard and mouse but hey, what can we do?

It's probably going to be hard to control it, walking itself would be pretty hard - not to mention where are they going to find so many buttons? :D

I know they made the PC interface with the consoles in mind, but I am very nervous about how this port is going to fare. The game is already pretty panned, so I hope they somehow breathe a new life into it with the console versions. I think the gameplay is extremely fun, but the auction house ruined the PC version. Perhaps if the console version stays far away from player selling/trading, it will be a much more pleasurable game experience.

As someone who played it on PC intially, I feel like porting it to the PS4 is too little, too late. The game was one of the most anticipated games that Blizzard had ever released, and the fact that it bombed so thoroughly after the first few weeks was absolutely crushing. That, combined with the huge issues the RMAH presented really leaves a lot to be desired in the way of faith towards Blizzard.

Coming from a perspective that this was some other development studio entering the market for the first time? D3 would be an alright game that's worth a handful of hours... but a triple-A title that lives up to its namesake? Hardly. I hope the PS4 edition will have what it takes to shake off some of the cobwebs, but I'll reserve my judgement until I see what happens. I for one don't intend on purchasing it (mostly cus I already have it on PC).

I think for the time being its only on the PS3, unless i missed something. I loved Diablo 3 when your playing with friends. Its really not much fun playing by yourself or with others that just want to race through everything with out the party. I don't think i could play it on a console. It will always be a PC game for me. Wonder if they get it working like Boulders Gate.

I can't say that I'm looking forward to this game. I was a huge fan of Diablo II, but, it seems like Diablo III is going to require me to use the auction house in order to get content to get through the end game. Sorry, no sale.

meh. Not fair PS3 can run the game my computer currently can't lol.
I just need a new graphics card then I'll be set. :D

Anyway GG this game rocks I will be playing it as soon as I can.
