Disc ejecting problem (FIXED)

So guys, today I turned on my PS4 to play some inFamous being bad person and all that... right after I turned on my PS4, it ejected the infamous disc and it did not accept any other disc! Every couple of seconds it made eject noise and it seems the disc tray was blocked.

I restarted, shoved the disc in, tried different discs and I had no hope.
Then I searched the internet and came across this thread in PSN forums, the fix seemed too easy to work, but out of desperation I tried and it worked!

Some dude named Eagle_Y_ replied in comment and provided below solution:
"Here is how I fixed it. Turn of PS4 completely. Unplug the Power cord. Touch the Power button several times until it beeps (static electricity?!)

Power on and voala! Works again."

And it really did work!

I thought I share the experience with you guys just in case someone had similar issue, they can try the mentioned method and avoid having a heart attack like me :p

Cheers

This didn't work for me when it happened. I had to tighten a screw to fix my issue, the article was on the Playstation site.

Sorry don_bidarian but I doubt it's a permanent fix as had the same issue myself.

Turn the screw CLOCKWISE not counter-clockwise and it should start to feel tight with some spring resistance.

I've also pulled the rubber plug from the bottom of the machine near the eject button.

Did you try the "pulling the power cord, pushing power button until it stop beebing" method?

Thats the method which I used and worked perfectly. now i think more than a month passed and I didnt face the same issue since.

I made an account just to tell you that unplugging it and pressing the power button until it beeped..WORKED!!! thank you so much!!!
