Do I stay with PS4?

Hi all,
I'm currently debating wether to stick with PS4 or not due to being on my third PS4 and that has now given up.

On all PS4 I've had in the past and present, the disc just keeps ejecting I have it standing upright, I've tried the old turn it off leave it for 10 minutes turn it back on but still didn't work.
I'm wondered wether that the PS4 slim is known to also have this problem if so I think it may be time to depart from PS :'(

I have exactly the same problem with my PS4.

Before PS4, I was an Xbox man through and through, I had a 360 and when the next gen happened I bought an Xbox One. Because they're better. All my friends bought PS4s. As soon as I made the switch I easily noticed all the differences between the PS4 and the Xbox and still continued to prefer the Xbox. Don't get me wrong, both machines are stupid and badly designed and the software is very confusing, I just think the Xbox is a little less bad than the PS4. The only real advantage the Playstation 4 has over the Xbox One in my eyes is the touchpad on the controller, which in the grand scheme of things amounts to fuck all. I'd still take the Xbox controller over the PS4 any day. WHO THE FUCK PUTS THE TWO THUBSTICKS NEXT TO EACHOTHER!? Anyway I've gone a little off topic here but in conclusion I would say; you're gonna have a lot of people giving you a lot of different opinions but you've just gotta weigh out the pros and cons of each and decide for yourself. And whatever you do, don't get the Nintendo Switch!

Have you tried this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUDx9TOT8VU . I think you should do what you feel is right. I have 2 day 1 PS4's and never had a problem. As a matter of fact I haven't had any issues with any console other then 1 360 got the RROD. But I own 5 others that have never give me a problem. If I did have a system that was constantly screwing up I would walk away and go to the competitor. How deep are you in? Are your games physical or digital? Like the song says," Know when to hold them, Know when to fold them". Good luck.

You have had 3 PS4's die on you?? That is not a common problem and it seems strange that you are killing so many of them. You sure it has enough room and ventilation? I have the original PS4 as well and never had an issue, flawless since day 1.

If you went through 3 PS4s, I wonder where you have it. If you have it on the carpet or in an enclosed space, it probably doesn't have good ventilation. There has to be more to this story.

Same here.Bought launch day no probs as yet.
Mine has also actually been sitting upright since almost day 1 too (vertical stand has space/vents underneath) and also out in the open with nothing around it.
