Do you have any games that you still haven't finished?

I just bought my PS3 a few months ago, so I haven't had my games very long. Still, I bought Little Big Planet 2 with my console, but I haven't played it for at least a month or so. I really like the game, but I just get so distracted sometimes. I've probably only played about 10% of the game, and that's not even including custom levels. I also haven't finished Uncharted 3, but that's because I played the first two games before and just thought I'd take a break for a while. I don't think I've stopped playing games because of their quality; it's usually just because I've been too busy to keep playing on a regular basis.

I have quite a few yes. One game that I certainly have never finished is Pacific Rift, Motor Storm. It's just so annoying and tricky that I sort of gave up with it.

Disgaea 2 and 3. I don't really understand how people are even able to really "finish" these games. I still have Disgaea 2 on PS2 that I haven't completely beat. This is the epitome of a JRPG grindfest, but it is so insanely addictive (to me at least). There are so many bonus features and things to unlock once you level enough, the item world, the secret levels and dark worlds. I don't think I can ever finish this game.

I suppose there are some games you don't exactly "finish." I finished the main story of Skyrim, and most side quests, but there was still plenty left to do. Even a hundred hours in it felt like I had barely scratched the surface, which to me is a sign of a good game. As long as games stay interesting, I'm likely to keep playing.

One game I never finished was the Ghostbusters game--which I did really enjoy--because I got to a point where the main character was all alone and you have to fight a bunch of golems or something. It was frustrating because I had spent so much time on that part only to get killed, and I've never picked the game up since. I'm kind of a coward when it comes to revisiting parts of games that I couldn't beat the first time around.

I have plenty of games I have never finished for one reason or another just sitting there gathering dust.
A couple that spring to mind are Fallout as I never really got on with it as it kept crashing my PS3 and Borderlands
more recently I have not finished black op 2 yet despite playing its multiplayer nearly every day.

Some Zelda and Sonic games which my wife brought for herself. I played them for a few hours but then get bored of them. I'm more of an action shooter or RPG kinda guy.

Don't get me wrong I love Zelda and Sonic but I prefer those on my DS instead, I don't class them as proper console games.

I still have Disgaea 4 to start, but seeing how long all the others were, i think i will need the entire summer to do it. Will plan to do it really soon, because there are many games being released and i need to clear up for them.

I hate to admit it but I have a lot of games that I have not yet finished. I have a number of RPG games, some action adventure games, and some platformers that I have not yet finished. Maybe I'll move into them some other time. I'm currently playing NBA 2K13 and I'm a few games away from being champion! After this, I might set my sights to play the games that I haven't finished yet.

Does it bother anyone else not to have finished their games? I feel like I need closure on a game before I stop thinking about it altogether. Even though I know it doesn't really matter whether I finish a game, I feel rather guilty whenever I think of the games that I haven't finished yet.

Yep I feel pretty much the same way. Weird isn't it? :)

I just started playing Lord of the Rings: War in the North and I already know that it will be a while before I finish it. Not because it's a bad game (I played the game on the 360 and really liked it and this is a freebie on PS Plus right now), but just because right now I don't really know what type of game I want to play and I just started playing it just for the heck of it. But it hasn't grabbed me. Maybe because I've already played it and it's just not the type of game you play more then once?

I have the same problem, my queue has been building up and I have so many games I've been meaning to get into on my list. The last one I've left hanging is Yakuza, and I've only barely gotten past the second stage at this point. I'd spend a lot more time finishing it, but the game doesn't allow cutscenes to be skipped so that takes up too much of my time, I'm afraid. I'd get back into it once I find a good weekend to marathon it again though.

It feels like the longer I wait to finish, the less likely I am to do it. The weird thing is that I usually do it with good games, so it isn't because I don't like them. Sometimes I get discouraged by a difficult section, but usually I persevere until I get past it. I actually haven't finished the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC for Arkham City because I got past one of the portions where you clear out the room, only to have the game fail to save my progress. The next time I loaded the game, I was back at the beginning of that part (which took me forever the first time), and I've just never gotten around to finishing it for good.

Skyrim... just never could get through it the whole way. I own it on PS3 and PC. And haven't finished it on either. Granted I definitely clocked way more hours for it on my PC due to the modding community.

Well I am replaying the Assassin's Creed franchise after I got my Anthology for PS3. It's not going very fast, I am still on the second game, but on the topic of games not finished... I have a copy of Ratchet and Clank (not sure which game exactly) that I started maybe 3-4 months ago and it's gathering dust somewhere :D. In times like this I feel that my lack of monetary resources for buying games is a plus, because sometimes I get in the mood of "BUY ALL THE GAMES" and then they just sit there, with no one to play them.

I'm exactly like that, too. Sometimes I get games that don't really live up to my expectations, so they just sit there for a while. The weird thing is that most games I don't finish are really good games; I just get kind of lazy, and I get distracted, and so I leave it unfinished. It bugs me, but I've pretty much always been like that.

The only PS3 game I have never finished has to be the first uncharted. I started playing it about a week before the 3rd came out. I got caught up in the Uncharted:Drakes Deception multiplayer and single player that I never went back to it. The only other games I haven't finished is Jak and Daxter, and a Rachet and Clank game on ps2. Also morrowind on PC. I always think about going back to play those games but I always get caught up in other things.

This is exactly how I feel. I just feel guilty knowing that I didn't finish that game where I'm stuck on a certain part. It doesn't make any difference to your live even if you do finish it, but you still feel upset about how you didn't finish that game.

As great as the game was, it took me a long time to go back and finish Skyrim. I had played for around 30 hours and still felt like I had barely done anything. In the end I played for well over 100 hours, possibly more if I remember correctly. It's satisfying to finish a game you've taken a long break from, but it isn't always easy to get back into the games for some reason.

Most fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Tekken, because I just get into online games or play arcade style. Not going crazy for story mode in such games, because they are badly made. For the rest of the games, I like to finish the campaigns and story lines.

I still haven't beaten COD: Black Ops 2 and Dead Island. I never finish the game on COD and Dead Island's story is boring me.
