Do you keep your games forever?

What do you do with your games when your done playing them? I just have all of mine sitting around collecting dust right now because I just can't seem to decide if I will play them again if I should get rid of them! I know I'm not trading them into to GameStop or something, that's just a waste, but especially with the PS4 getting ready to come out I really don't think I need to keep them. Do you guys keep your games? Are any of you collectors?

Nope, I only keep the ones I really like and have replay value.
I give them some time, if the game is in my shelf for more than a month a end up selling it online so i can buy more games, or just trade it.
Simple yet effective strategy. :D

Nope I sling games on eBay and craigslist all day errday.

No seriously, I sell the heck out fo my games and I'll be selling them ALL as part of package deals with my xboxes I'll be selling.

I usually ebay them later although some of my fav's Ive kept for years, until recently..when I ebayed them too. :p

There are some games that are dear to my heart. These are the games that I hold on to forever like Xenogears, Tekken 5, Okami, Final Fantasy 8, God of War... However there are also some games that I just let go of and give to my cousin. I also sell some games when I really need cash. What do I do with the games that I keep? Nothing. They just collect dust in a corner. But I feel warm and fussy inside when I know that I have them.

I trade them with friends, but it's not always possible since some of my friends would usually buy the same game due to impatience. Some titles I will keep on purpose, just because I know I'd probably want to play them again someday. I learned this the hard way by losing many of my PS2 games due to negligence, and when I find myself wanting to play certain games there that I soon find out that I've lost, I end up kicking myself for it.

Nowadays I keep my games. When I was younger I used to trade them in or sale them though because I was broke. I ended up buying some of those games back because I regretted getting rid of them.

I try to keep them forever if i can, doesnt always work out that way.

I do still have my original dreamcast and a couple of the games, as well as the memory card i had in high school. Thats a LONG time...

Im honestly genuinely surprised with all the no's :o. I keep all the games i get whether i like them or not. I feel like once i get rid of a game i immediately want to play it again lol but i also like knowing i have a big library of games to choose from and ill have these games when theyll be incredibly hard to find when they get out dated.

I keep all my old games. I like to play them over and over to see how much better I can do. There have been only four games that I got rid of. Two of them I didn't like that much and I stopped playing them. The other two because I had better brand new copies of those games. Otherwise I keep all the games I like even thought I have beaten them. I don't really like to throw away good games.

I won't lie I usually keep my games forever. I don't know why, I just always think about that day I may want to play it. I mean I think about "one" day in particular. I know its crazy, but selling my games just seem so useless, since you will never get what you spent back on them.

It depends on the quality of the games. If the games have replay value, then i will certainly keep them. I think it also depends on how much i think i can get for the games. I think if i can get a good price for them, they that definite factors into probably selling the games.

Keep everything, got to build my collection from somewhere, even if there is one or two titles that i regret buying that i am still up to sell them if i ever can.

I like to keep them if I really enjoyed them. I sometimes get that need to replay old games I enjoyed so I like to keep them around. If it's the kinda game that I could barely even finish one playthrough of, though, I will get rid of it ASAP.

Yup, i do the same thing.

I keep my games.
I have only traded in games once, and yea to be honest I regret it because later on I found out I really wanted to play one of them... So yea lesson learned, never trade in games.

I do sometimes other times I don’t. I usually keep games that figure lots of significance and provide a platform where I as the player enjoy playing it. However if I have downloaded it for money I cant just chuck it any howly regardless of how boring it is.

I usually keep them. However, I just recently sold most of my games to Gamestop (horrible decision). They gave me little to nothing for the games I had, but then sell it at $10 or so.
