Do You Still Play PSone?

I know I still crack open my playstation one every so often.

I have my old one kept safe in a box, away from harm, but i do give the games a spin once in a while. Classics like Rival Schools, Vagrant Story, Digimon World, Final Fantasy are always good to make me remember why i like video-games so much.

I owned a PS2 as well as a PS1, but I now play the PS2 for purposes of nostalgia and good gameplay. Right now I play Manhunt, Dynasty Warriors 4, Star Ocean 3, Valkyrie Profile 2, Soul Calibur 3, FFX, and GTA: San Andreas, as these are the only PS2 games worth replaying for me.

It just sits in a closet with my ps2. I'm thinking about selling it since I have no use for it.

Yes, Yes I do, however I don't own my original PSX anymore so I'm forced to use an Emulator. I've gone back several times to replay games like Legend of Dragoon, Xenogears, and Vagrant Story. Mainly just original PlayStation RPG's, since a lot of the normal games didn't age well.

I find it sad how most people forget about their old games. Eventually , these companies will do a remake or just sell them again on the new consoles.

I still think some of the best games were on older consoles like PS1 and PS2.

I don't play it as often as I used to, but I still bust it out to play my VERY old Harvest Moon file and other games

I still play both I am fortunate enough to have a ps3 that can play all those old ps2 and ps1 games. I love going to flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores and picking up cheap games for those old Sony consoles. A lot of those game are still a lot of fun and worth a look.

Lets face it because eventually they won't be supporting none of these classics.

I don't play PSOne or PS2 any more. I still have most of the games, but I sold both of those consoles some years back now, didn't feel a need to hold on to them.

I only ever had a PSone when growing up, and my family got rid of that a long time ago. There are many games on it that I remember quite fondly, and have been trying to get them for other consoles, or at least figure out their names! But, no luck so far. We have an xbox 360 now, and I play my PSP most of the time when given a chance. I have always loved gaming consoles, and I am very interested in finding those games from my early childhood.

I feel really bad for saying this, but I never had a PS1. I whip out the DualShock 2 once in a while to play my PS2. But the PS2 will be my favorite console of ALL TIME!

I actually had two PS1 consoles. I think one of them the cable tore so I had to buy another one. There are just so many games that I still want to play on it!

I need to get my gaming collection back on pro status.

I've already given away my PS1, so no. I wasn't really that fond of that console anyway, even at the time I only mostly just watched my friends play it. I was entertained enough just by that and I never really felt the urge to play most of those games. The one I kept was the PS2 and I absolutely loved that console, and that's what I still pick up and play now, especially since a lot of the games I loved there were never really imported and developed further for the PS3.

I still play PS 1 games. I feel very nostalgic when I play the likes of Rival Schools, Gran Turismo, Tekken 3, Xenogears, and just about any other positions PS 1 game. However, I no longer use my console to play the games. I just use an emulator and play on the PC.

I would have if my console is still alive. Sadly, it broke after several years after it's bought. I still play PSOne games in the PSP, though.

Every once in a while i pull it out and tell my neohews about how gaming used to be real and much more than just good graphics and then show them how it is done on need for speed road challenge and gran turismo 3. I am kinda untouchable on those two games and i always ein. im yet to start betting on those games.

Uhm, I think Gran Turismo 3 was released for the PS2 and not the PlayStatoin 1. The PS2 churned out two Gran Turismo games - (1 and 2) while the PS2 released 3 ASpec and Gran Turismo 4. but they still were great. I like the original much better than part two.

I would if I could, but my PSone got wrecked during the recent flood. I tried to salvage it, and I tried to get it repaired, but to no avail, it was pretty much dead-on-arrival. Upon hearing the news that my PS1 was dead, I cried deep inside due to the fact that I had countless memories of playing with it. I specifically remembered a game called Chrono Trigger where I got really addicted to it. It even reached to the point that I skipped mass just to play the damned game. Those were fun memories, but I guess I have to move on.
