Do you still remember DarkStalkers?

DarkStalkers is a 2D fighting game made by Capcom. I first played the game during the days when my PS 1 was still working. I borrowed the game from a friend of mine and I had a bit of fun playing the game. It was a solid fighter that had pretty interesting characters. I believe that the character design of DarkStalkers was better than the Street Fighter games during the day. It made me want to try out every character in the game. Will there be any chance that this game would be available on the PS 4?

I remember Darkstalkers. Most of the old schoolers should. They even put up an HD version of part 1 and part 3 to spark potential interest in a new full Darkstalkers game. But according to Capcom, it "didn't sell enough" so they won't make a new darkstalkers.

Personally, I don't see how they could expect that to sell like gangbusters when all it was is an HD remake of games over 15 years old

That's just very unfortunate. Maybe they could just incorporate the characters into the Street Fighter series to make it bigger and better. Or maybe they could make a SF x DarkStalkers game. I think that would be awesome. The game would still be popular because of the SF brand and the DarkStalkers name would also receive a boost.
