Elder Scrolls Online What race is everyones first character going to be?

I think I'm going to make a Nord Templar, wearing heavy armor

I've been getting mostly negative vibe from my PC friends about the whole thing. I'll go ahead and try the beta.

So have I, so I tried ffxiv. I didn't like it like everyone else. Plus, square enix has no good support.

Redguard either tank or melee class. I might end up being a melee class since I've never been a fan of heavy armor.

An elven race. Either wood elf or high elf. I know I want to be a melee type as well.

Khajit!

I've always chosen the Khajit

I played with a Khajit in Morrowind and Oblivion, for some reason I didn't play as one in Skyrim. Don't know why though since I love the Khajit.

I always was Nord or Imperial. With a strong armor and sword.
The only feature I don't like in The Elder Scrolls: Online is that you have to pay every month the fee, just like in World of Warcraft.
By the way, I'm still playing Skyrim.

Khajit, of course. I typically play stealth-based characters and Khajit are a perfect fit.
Unless I'm playing a stealth archer; in that case I would pick a wood elf, although they don't look nearly as awesome.

I always say I'm going to play as a tank and end up as a melee. Khajit are in my top 3 favorite races in TES. The thing with Skyrim is that it never really seem like it mattered what you picked outside of racial abilities like in the previous TES titles.

Nord, Khajit, and Dark Elf make up my top three. I agree that Skyrim pretty much eliminated the need to consider which race to play with from a strategic stance.

When I do characters its usually Nord, High Elf, and Dark Elf.

Interesting, I don't anyone I regularly chat with who play Elder Scrolls who enjoy High Elves.

I think High Elves have this stigma...of being jerks. My top 3 are Khajit, High Elves, and Breton.
