Error Connecting PSN from PC and Playstation error 37397

Hi,

Can someone help me in resolving issue related to PSN connectivity. My internet connectivity is working fine. I am using WIFI at my home, and only website I am not able to connect to is PSN. I am getting access denied error when connecting PSN from my Laptop/PC from my home network usingWIFI and WS-37397-9 error from my Playstation 4.
I tried below options already
1) Restting the Router/ flushed the firmware and reinstalled the new firmware DD-WRT on my Router
2) MAC Address Cloning
3) DNS setting to Google DNS and Open DNS
4) Port Forwarding to the specified ports by Sony
5) changed MTU to 1492
6) Rebuild the Database
7) Changed to new Router

Please suggest the solution as This problem I am facing from past 15 days.

Regards,
Neeraj

It looks like you IP is blocked by Sony, for some unknown reason, surely not depending from you.

You can try to connect to PSN with a different IP, for example with a smartphone not using your home router or by installing a small application like this. Put it on your PC and see if you can access the PSN.

Thanks Alex_68, I already tried connecting with diffferent mode like with my mobile phone network it is getting connected, there is definately some issue with router settings or ISP ( may be u are correct about blacklisting of IP). But changing the ISP is not a good bet as this issue can crop-up again with new ISP. I checked many forums from SONY and other forums but no solution provided is working.

You can give it a try anyway. That application I linked does not change your ISP. It just changes your public IP. If your IP is blocked by Sony, probably if you connect with a different IP, you will be able to enter. It is possible that the new IP provided by that application is also blocked, but there are many small apps like that able to change your public IP. I see no other solution rather than using such a trick, because if your IP is blocked by Sony there's no way to unblock it.

That means to run PS4 I would need always my PC to be up and this application to be running. Is there any utility to be installed on Router firmware which can change the public IP :-)

i feel like calling sony would be your best bet at this point. sony support can either be amazing, or one of those policy before player type of experiences.

honestly make sure you port forwarded correctly, rebuild your database, and if all else fails return the ps4. thats what i would do but do the first two
