Ever been a game where you're the villain?

Of all the games I've played, there's never been one where I'm outright the villain. Sure, there are games that let you do bad things but at the end of the game you're still fighting another bad guy. I want to see a game where I'm the villain out to stop the hero's quest for goodness. It'd be interesting to let the bad guy win for a change.

Could be fun to lead an army of zombies to catch and eat a couple of innocent heros
Seriously, from a villain's perspective they probably do something good or at least necessary, don't they?
In inFamous second son you can choose the infamous way, it's still hard to consider Delsin as a villain though.

I can't think of any games off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are tons of them. Developers need to create more titles where you play as the actual bad guy. I'm not talking about a game that let's you choose a path of good or bad nature, either. I'm talking about a game where you're a bona fide villain that does terrible things. For instance, the torture scene from GTA V with Trevor. Put that into a game where you're undoubtedly the bad guy who never does anything righteous, and that could be a great game.

I suppose a lot of RTS games have the good and bad sides. So you can be evil if you want like in Command and Conquer. Infamous you can choose to be evil... also Naughty Bear if you remember that crap. Not a lot of games to be honest, wish there were more as you can really exploit the evil concept pretty well seeing as though not a lot of games do it.

Do you not play a villain in the Legacy of Kain games? It has been way too long since I've actually played one, so I am uncertain.

I consider the game more like anti-hero than a villain since you're still fighting a bad guy. Even though, you do bad things in the inFamous games you're not exactly the villain of the game. The villain is still the end boss you fight in the game. What I meant was like let's say for Uncharted, instead of Nathan you play as the bad guy wanting to kill Nathan.

Top of my head, I can't really think of any games that I've played where I am the evil guy. Well there's Infamous but that's more choice driven so you're not really a villain from the beginning. On Xmen Legends 2 you get to play as one of the members from The Brotherhood but you're to fight another villain so that makes you a hero technically. There was that Star Wars game (or was it a movie?) where you were playing as the villain but you don't know that until the ending so I think that doesn't count. Well, the GTA games you somehow play as the villain since you're just blowing sh** up. I can't think of anything else. Sorry
