Favorite PC Game Ever?

I think the most influential game series for me was the Kings Quest games. Although games now rock and have amazing graphics, etc. Sierra had a great way of making these epic fantasy RPGs that were just perfect and memorable for me growing up. As much as I hate to admit it, WoW is kinda amazing game. It's such a huge MMO that (usually) works so perfectly and the whole span of it is just mind boggling. The majority of my gaming is on the consoles nowadays.

I couldn't agree more! It's probably the last FPS with real teamwork involved in it. I love to play competitive with my friends!

For me Minecraft is the best PC game ever. It has everything you want and you can modify the game as you want adding mods so it makes the game different everytime.
You can get it for free and you don't have to pay for anything (mods for example). Furthermore you can play it with friends in the online mode.
I've never played a game like this and I think it's not going to be overtaken by any game.

My favourite PC game is World of Warcraft. I've been playing the Wrath of the Lich King expansion as an Arms Warrior for three years and I cannot describe how skilled I've become with this class. Yes I am playing on a private server, where there are a lot of baddies, but I perform extremely well on other solely PvP based servers such as Arena Tournament. Okay, enough bragging!

Bottom line, World of Warcraft is my favorite game!

I don't play that much PC games, but among the ones I've played, counter Strike and Dota stood out most. I had a hard time getting better at both and keeping up with the others who were much more serious with it, but I still had a lot of fun nonetheless.

I would have to say that my all time favorite PC game is POP - Prince of Persia meaning the two thrones. Each part of this game makes me happy I really love them. I played the POP - sands of time, Warriourwithin, The Two Thrones but for the POP - The Forgotten Sand I am halfway through.

My favorites are tied between Adam Ryland's Total Extreme Wrestling series--I've always preferred booking a company and managing a roster, dealing with attitudes, show rating, hiring/firing, company rivalries, etc than just create a wrestler and play through the restrictive story mode--AND the Mount & Blade series.

I love the Mount & Blade series. It's basically an open world medieval sim/RPG, but not a fantasy-based one.

Very close ones are Elder Scrolls III and The Sims 2.

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl is probably my number one game of all time. The story is brilliant, the atmosphere is fantastic, graphics were really good for its time. It had some of the most memorable characters and I always loved hearing their stories. The paranormal aspect of the game was also well done and it added a horror element into the mixture. The bullet mechanics/ballistics are really advanced and even today's games are having a hard time replicating those.

I had to quote you on this because I played so many wrestling sims back when they were a big deal! I loved Promotion Wars and EWR and played them way too much. Did you ever make promotion diaries of your shows, or do it today?

Anyways, my favorite game on PC as of today has to be The Binding of Isaac. 100s of hours wasted on this game. And to think I bought a beefy rig that could play the latest games on Ultra setting...I play a small non-graphic intensive indie game. No regrets!

Mid 2000s were great for booking sims. I enjoyed Promotion Wars and even played the leaked Promotion Wars 2. There was also TWN which was like the first booking sim. I played EWR all the time and wanted to get TEW 2004 (which isn't available anymore, I think the studio Adam was with at that time closed before headed to Greydog). I've all of the TEW games since 2005 (which is free now) and I love the increased difficulty from EWR 4.

I started doing fantasy diaries in 2004 with EWR on the EWB boards. First one was a Japanese promotion using the Puroresu pack (LUKIE's). I got into fantasy diaries because efedding was time consuming :P I've done plenty of diaries in that time, most I never finished. Rule of thumb: TNA from the start or current and WCW prior to close are the easiest to do a diary on.

Your booking can't be questioned because it would be better than whatever TNA was doing.

Worms 2. It's an oldie but a goodie. All the new ones are trying to recreate the experience and add more to it, but that's pretty much the point where the series achieved perfection. It's also one of the first games I've played on PC - and probably the one I enjoyed the most too.

I am a PC gamer and love to play fighting video game in my free time. I often play Tekken 3. I am not sure but I think I have played this almost 20 times. Angle is my favorite character in this game because Angle’s use Mishima Style Karate to fight against Devil and evil and I love its fighting style.

I always picked WCW in PW. When WWE bought WCW and they merged....WWE was a nightmare to play. Not to mention when you switch over to EWR which was a lot deeper. So many people on the roster! I have yet to try any TEW because I always want the latest version and then it's too much for me to buy when I know I wouldn't play it all the time.

20 times doesn't sound like a lot. 200 or maybe even 2000 is the number you get when talking about your favorite game.

Mine would either be the original Sims or Stronghold. I am not honestly sure which Stronghold game it was that I played, but I remember dropping hours into that game. It was actually my mom's game, but I played it so much more than she did.

My favorite game for the PC is Amnesia: The Dark Decent. I love scary games and Amnesia so far is the scariest game that I have ever played. It is too bad I can say the same thing for it's sequel.

That's an extremely tough call. It would have to be one of my favorites from the early PC-Days....hmmm....

Mount & Blade is up there in my favorite PC games, but I still find myself gravitating towards Dota 2.

The PC version of San andreas. I've most likely played it over 1500 hours including time on multiplayer and multiple single player run throughs and mods and stuff.
