Features of the PS4

What features are you looking forward to seeing on the upcoming PS4?

I'm looking forward to the new content implemented into the new playstation 4 and the new upgradable HDD. also I like the idea of a new controller, I plan on buying the Playstation 4 for christmas when people aren't fighting to get the console.

I'm looking forward to the ability of the PS 4 to record gameplay video. This would be one of the best features of the console. I wonder if it could also be easily transferred to other devices like the PC for instance. I'll need to edit the videos first before publishing them online.

the recording is going to my favourite as well, agreeing with lindbergh. Being able to document and share with each other will add that extra touch of competitiveness to gaming which is very good news.

Apart from the obvious like more power,better graphics etc which we all love some other nice things (besides a new controller) would be cross game chat and that 'share' button on the controller.

Cross game chat for me. Will be really great to finally be able to talk to friends whilst playing different games.

I would have to say the cross game chat, for the few people I do talk to, and basically the whole system overall. While I can't say a lot of the features mentioned really appeal to me such as recording gameplay or sharing but at least a few do catch my eye.

Graphics is the key for me.

I'm just hoping that we get a stable console to play on. There are no truly innovative features this generation I feel, most are just rehearsed things from the 7th gen so there really wasn't much to surprise us this time round. But I'm just hoping that the PS4 will simply be stable enough to play on it for years to come without any major difficulties, like the red ring of death and the overheating problems that the 360 and sometimes even the early PS3 had.

Probably the specs. Microsoft is trying to catch up with the PS4 since they recently overclocked their GPU to run better. I'm pretty excited to see how next-gen games will run on the PS4 and if there will be any stutters. Other than the specs, I'm also excited for the playroom. While it's not fully official yet, the videos of it are very entertaining and fun to watch. I would love to have a realistic experience in my room as well.
