Hi guys I. New here and was just wondering on something.
We know that pS4 uses the OS FreeBSD 9.2
Question 1
Now FreeBSD is on version 10.2. I was just wondering would Sony ever upgrade the software to 10.**(which ever is the latest?) and if they do would it give the PS4 any advantages what's o ever? I'm just wondering.
Also the new version of PS4 coming out ( CUH - 1200 )uses 8% -18% less power.
Question 2
Software wise can or does Sony improve the efficiency of the PS4 by software? Like for example the new ios9 improves efficiency. I'm guessing maybe not as it's not connect through battery and not needed. But as the original PS4 saw a lot of articles saying it uses a lot of power I was just wondering on that. Less power less energy bill

I know that future PS4 will not improve the hardware on performance or graphics as past customer will not be happy with older version. They improve on heat noise and power consumption of course (that's a good thing).
But was wondering for all versions of PS4 does system updates improve on the graphics speed and general performance of the system? Or it just mainly fixes bugs and adds new features.
