Future improvements to Vita

What improvements, if any, would you make cosmetically to the vita? Button positions, shape, size, screen size, thickness. .....

They announced it in Japan recently (no plans for international release so far) but more colors would be welcome with me. I'm also a sucker for clear plastic so I think if they made a version with a transparent plastic casing, I would definitely think it would look pretty cool. Other than that, I don't really have a lot of complaints. It looks and feels pretty good to me.

Yeah, I've heard of the slim thing. Just like PS4, it's already pretty slim though.

I've held the Vita once or twice and it's quite slim. It isn't like it's bulky like the original Gameboy or anything.

Yeah the Vita isn't thick at all but Sony loves their Slim stuff.

I have no problem with the thickness at all. Screen size could be a bit bigger. I don't think the hardware itself needs improvements, it's the library of games for it.

Sony should stop ripping people off with proprietary memory cards so that the system is more appealing.

Every company has their hustle. Sony and these cards, Microsoft and Live Gold/GWG, and Nintendo has pricing the Wii U at what it is.

My brother is a Sony diehard and loves his Vita, but even he says that the memory cards' prices are assy.

The cost of the memory cards are still a huge issue, but peripherals almost never get discounted greatly so there's not much hope on that end of things. There has already been a slim version released in Japan. I believe the "slim" teaser that was recently put out has to do with the US release of the slim version. It's supposedly got better battery performance than the original Vita.

I'd love to see them attempt another PSP Go type design now with the Vita. I think that only failed mostly because PSP games were mostly UMD based and owners of the previous versions were left out. Now that everything is digital already, though, I'd love for them to make something a lot more compact again. I don't really like the current design to begin with anyway, but even if I did, the size is still too bulky for me.
