You can buy the digital upgrade from ps3 to ps4 for COD ghosts, but you must have the ps3 disc to play. I have the ps3 copy and the ps4 copy, but my friend wants to do the digital code for his ps4. Is there any way around this? I can not give him my ps3 copy because im not allowed to play my ps4 til christmas so im going to keep it until then. Is there anyone he can use my digital download code and play ghosts without my ps3 disc??

No. He will also have to to have a PS3 copy as well for the PS4 upgrade to be playable.
edit: Hmm,what about game sharing? I mean you would have to have bought the digital copy of the PS3 version then he logs in to his PS3 with your details and downloads it too.Then uses the code to upgrade to PS4 digital version.
The important bits are:
1.He needs to have a PS3 for this as well
2.You would have to have bought the digital version on PS3.
3.Im not even sure this would work anyway.
