Ghosts or battlefield 4?

Battlefield 4 is the one that I will pre-order. Personally I think that is a better game and the gameplay suites me. COD : Ghosts will also be part of my selection, but it will be bought at a later stage. The one thing that I am doing is keeping up to date with all the new reviews. This helps me to prioritise and buying games that I like.

Oh man, that's a really tough one. I think I am going to have to give the advantage to Ghost, although you really can't go wrong either way. I am hoping to get both!

Depends what you want to do. If you are more of a tactical person I would say BF4 is for you. It has more of a learning curve and is more time consuming but pays of nicely once you rank up. If you are more of a run and gun the Ghost. Grab yourself the fastest firing SMG and play hardcore and you will be ranked up in no time. Unfortunately ghost is one of, If not the worst game in the franchise IMHO

Agree, Ghost is really not that good, I guess BF4 is better. I'm sticking with CoD, though. I just prefer the way it's played despite they tried to ruin it.

Both were kinda meh compared to their predecessors. I'll give the edge to BF4 though. It has better graphics, better gameplay (though if you like twitch shooters, you'll probably like Ghosts better), and bigger maps. The game was buggy as hell when it came out but it's a lot better now and is actually pretty fun. Ghosts didn't look like a next-gen game and though it had a decently interesting campaign and some fun new multiplayer modes, I felt like it got stale really quick. But again, this is all my opinion. If you've played other Battlefield games or the previous CoD, the new ones won't make you change your mind as they're nothing revolutionary.

Both if you can. They are different games. Cod is more "arcade" where it's relies on fast action pace. BF4 will be more slow but more realistic. But both are inferior to their prior but it's all we got for now so...

I can understand Ghosts being inferior to previous Ghosts but why do you say BF4 is inferior to previous BF games?
Playing all previous CoDs I get your point and although Ive had all previous BF games I havent played the MP much on them so curious as to why you say that on BF games.

Simply because everyone i know plays it religiously. Playing online with my friends is half the fun. My hand is kind of forced in this situation. I am not even going to give Battlefield 4 a chance. I have heard good things about it though. It just isn't for me. I was going to buy both, but i decided to buy a second controller instead.

Battlefield 4 is so much better. I own both of the games and it annoys me so much how in Ghosts no walls or anything break when shot or whatever in multiplayer and singleplayer. Battlefield is just so much more realistic.

Haha good decision. Ghosts with extra controllers for split screen instead of BF4 and Ghosts but with no room for an extra guy. Hopefully PS4 gives us some couch-co op games outside of sports games. You only need one PS Plus account (but 2 Playstation accounts) to play right?

I sign in with my account and my missus then signs in with hers we can play dual screen or split screen.
Or,I dont have even have to sign in.She can sign in with her account only and still play it online solo.

But as Ive mentioned in other topics,I dont play it much anymore as it IS the poorest CoD out of all the rest so far so Ive switched to BF4.

Well its defo better than it was but personally I havent really had problems with it at all,apart from sometimes there being no game sound when being put into a game.
But that was earlier,it seems OK now.

Ahh, I didn't know that. CoD is the 2nd worst in the series IMO. CoD 3 was an absolute pile of crap and there's a reason no one talks about that game.

As far as BF4 bugs, they're still there but it's definitely been cleaned up. There's some rubber banding in some Naval Strike servers though, especially on Carrier Assault.

Ah yes,you are right,I also get rubberbanding,not sure if its limited to Naval Strike but on memory yeah,I think so too.

You mentioned CoD 3 was crap,I presume you are referring to the actual CoD 3? (not MW3) Which was the first CoD on PS3.
Then yeah,well the first one was more of a PS2 type upgrade to me.Where as MW1 really was next gen in looks (next gen for the time ofcourse)

Battlefield 4 all day. I like being tactical with FPS games, and so far, Battlefield has given me a lot of opportunity to do that, whilst in CoD it is very limited (Search and Destroy) also, playing with a team or friends in Battlefield 4 is amazing.

But CoD also has fun game modes, just enough if you want a quick dip of action once in a while, just sit back and start racking up kill streaks and stuff.

So I guess it depends on my mood really. And the amount of time I have in my hands haha. BF4 matches can last for almost an hour, wherein in CoD 10 minutes is staple.
