hello everyone !
after all sorts of decision making i have finally decided to give up on the road of pcs. As i am tired of upgrading every year or so, you will have to spend fortunes to play games at their highest settings , so i have decided to quit pc gaming and will jump into console gaming , and i have chosen ps4 as my first ever console;)

So recently i was reading somewhere that disc less ps4 are coming very soon ? is it true ? because as i said in my previous post that my internet is not that good
so i cant download large games in size that was also a problem in pc aswell so is it true that physical copy wll end in ps4 ?
and when upgrades/patches comes can we play games without updating it ? and do every games run in minimum of 30fps that what i want. And does ps4 overheat and gives problem like YLOD AND PROD ?
and do you think iam making a right decisions leaving pc world as i have a pretty good pc with gtx 760 and i5 2500k , but i am fedup of upgrading everytime and
due to that i can"t enjoy playing games as well so please answer questions it will be very kind.:)

Abuzar, I wish you had PS2 and PS3, then you would blindly choose PS4 :p

btw to answer your questions:

1. discless PS4 sounds far from reality, because when Xbox One was talking about being discless and digital only, PS4 came forward and mentioned physical disks are not going anywhere, also considering bluray is Sony format, i dont think they would ditch their own format.
2. Games can run without online patches, and they all run minimum 30fps.
3. PS4 has a problem BLOD (blue light of death) the problem source is unknown as far as I know, it ranges from hardware to software failure. but Sony will replace for you if you are under warranty.
4. If you are coming from PC to console, you might feel a bit disappointed with the graphics, because PC will always have better graphics, but the exclusives on consoles are so brilliant and that I think PC gamers are missing a lot.

thanks alot for answering my question , i have no problem going down a hill in the graphics department , so i will be buying ps4 in the coming weeks .So please can you tell me which games i should buy i have decided to buy watchdogs and fifa14 any other which you would have like to add ? and please tell me will god of war will come on ps4 ?

No news on god of war yet.

I would suggest play inFamous as well.

Many great games are going to be released by end of 2014 and mid 2015.

There is no worry of forced online only any time soon. Some games are being released digitally but these all have a physical release as well. Also you can decline any patches or updates and continue playing with no issues. There are no major problems like YLOD yet, but it is still too early for these to make themselves know.

1.) Not sure. But I know the disc one will always be available--Sony would not be so stupid. You can buy digital copies of games if you want, but I doubt a "discless" version is coming any time soon.
2.) No worries, games work fine without patches and Internet--speed, slow, whatever--is not needed.
3.) Meh, no(?). In the long run the PC is cheaper since Steam has plenty of sales. However if you're Internet is slow... well that is going to be a problem. Also, mods make everything better on PC... but again... slow Internet. PS4 games look pretty and, when people start to figure out the hardware, they will look even prettier.

thanks all for reply , sorry for the late respond :(

now please clarify me once again , like in pc whenever updates or patch comes first we"ll have to update or patch it then only we can play the game, is it the same in ps4 ?
Like recently about 8gb patch came out is ps4 for ac4 black flag did u need to update it first and then only u can play it even single player ? sorry i am asking again and again
but buying console for the first time so i am exited a bit :p

EDIT - one more thing people are saying about ps4 is that one should wait atleast one year until its more refined model comes out , is it true ?

You can play without patching--just not multiplayer. Sometimes single player stuff gets patched though, so keep that in mind.

Not really. I mean it is and it isn't. The only thing that will be "refined" is it'll probably be slimmer and have more than the standard 500GB HD. Again, it won't be refined, just nicer looking. It'll still be PS4 playing the same games with all the same features and what not. Waiting is just a matter of preference but waiting also means you will have to wait to play some big up-and-coming titles.

You can play any game without patching it, but you won't be able to play any Multiplayer aspects of it until you patch it. Only the singleplayer will be left to play, which considering how most of the next generation of games are going to be utilizing a seamless Singleplayer/Multiplayer experience it would be a waste to only play the Singleplayer.

Im new to PC gaming. New as in I havent even tried it yet. I've seen some friends play online, but never have myself. Maybe in the future I will. From what I hear if you have a good computer for it, gaming online can be better then on any system.

well its true i am having a good gaming pc but the problem rises when newer games comes out, some will run on ultra settings other in medium and going down the setting dosen"t satisfy me .
Plus after the introduction of steam u have to download whole games from steam via internet which does require a high internet speed, even you buy a physical copy then also half of the game
you will have to download from steam. As i am having not that much high internet connection so i was fedup because i cant download every games , so i am going to be a console gamer
and i am hopefully going to satisfy with it.

I understand the pain of upgrading your computer to keep up with the latest and greatest! You JUST get settled in to a nice system, and then an awesome game comes out that doesn't look good enough, or just barely meets the min. req. and off to the upgrading you go! Never ending cycle! I think you will be happy with a PS4, though. Like some have said, you may have been a bit more intrigued if you had the PS's before it.
It'll take some getting used to (way less capabilities on a system too. A lot less buttons than a keyboard.) but it'll be fun if you get games that you like, and maybe grab some PS friends to share the experience with.

SeanM, please do not post multiple replies featuring the same message. I have deleted your other posts in this thread.

Nice try but epic fail as you can't even emulate PS3 games on the biggest and best PC to any playable standard.

As for a PS4 LOL no chance any time soon!

PC's aren't the master race they are all just sheep chasing resolution and frames per second, amount of anti-aliasing and resolution rather than just kicking back and chilling out with your DS4, a cold one and some great games like Infamous and Watchdogs.

Look at what you have to do to try and get a game running nicely on a PC:

I'll stick with games made specifically for the PS4 or at the very least optimized so that they run well (well okay Thief is excluded as that ran very poorly indeed).

Lmao so much this. You need to have a good computer to run PS2 emulators decently, so I don't think PS3 ones are coming anytime soon. Plus, a PS4 is a better value at $400 anyway. (more optimized, don't need fancy graphics cards or overclocked CPUs, no need to pay $700+ to set up a decent rig)
I don't think the PC master race kids realize that everyone has a PC these days... Console gamers just don't give a crap because we want to sit on our couch and be lazy.
