Great games I never played: SSX

Before I even got a PS2, I already bought a couple of PS2 magazines. I read about the games available for the system in order to get acquainted on what to get when I already had the console. One of the games that I saw was SSX. It seemed to be a pretty cool snow boarding game with insane courses and moves. It got high scores from critics and users alike. Come to think of it, I wasn't able to play any SSX game on the PS2. Sigh.

Have you really never played that game? I mean, how could you miss it? This is one of the best skating games I have ever played! You should try it on your PC or PS2 someday.

There's a PC version of SSX? Or is it only payable if I use an emulator? I checked out the shop where I purchase cheap PS 2 games but I don't think that I've seen SSX in their catalog of games.

I always preferred SSX Tricky to SSX and 1080 on the N64 to both. Amped 2 on the Xbox was also a truly fun game. Great, now you have me being all nostalgic. You could always pick up SSX on the Ps3.

I played SSX a few times. It was good but didn't stand up to the king of snowboarding games which is 1080 snowboarding for N64. That game is sick even though the graphics are kind of weak. It's all about the fun factor and 1080 brought it.

I have never played SSX either. Honestly, I have never played a snow boarding game period. They didn't appeal to me as much as the skateboarding games. As a kid of the 90's, i was caught up in the Tony Hawk craziness like everyone else. That wore off after the first 3 games though and I haven't bought a extreme sports game in years.

This guy knows what is good. The reboot of the series really crushed my dreams of getting another great SSX game. At least we still have the old classics, those will never disappear!
