Nice.
Lets hope we still get a Red Dead game soon eh Haze.

Here's some info on GTA V PS4:

Gamespot said:
You can expect "across-the-board graphical and technical improvements," which aim to deliver a "stunning new level of detail," Rockstar said. Specifically, GTAV for Xbox One, PS4, and PC will offer increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolution.
GTAV for Xbox One, PS4, and PC will also include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an "array of new details to discover," Rockstar teased. These upgrades also apply to Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer mode for GTAV.

In addition, all the new content for GTA Online released since launch--including new Jobs, weapons, vehicles, and properties--will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Finally, Rockstar said all current GTAV players will be able to transfer their GTA Online characters and progression to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Finally, GTAV for PC will feature a video editor that Rockstar says is designed for "advanced movie-making." It's unclear if this video editor will come to Xbox One and PS4. Preorders for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions of GTAV will be available starting tomorrow, June 10. The game launches in full later this fall.

Finally! I played it on every platform so far, and now I can't wait for it to come out for the PS4. I don't know why, but I just love this game and can go on playing endlessly. Out of the entire franchise, GTA 5 really took the cake. Even beat out San Andreas, which had a lot of nostalgic memories for me.

Unless there's some extra content or vastly improved graphics I will not be picking up a Grand Theft Auto V again. I don't really like how Sony is releasing a bunch of remakes of games that are already available for the PS3, but I'll make an exception for this one. It's a damn shame that the graphics won't look anything like the playback in the video, that would make the Grand Theft Auto experience much better.

Thank god, I was just thinking about having to pick it up for the PC. Remembering past GTA releases for the PC, I wasn't exactly excited about the prospect. At least GTA IV was all right after all the patches, but it sure took a while.

I loved this game. One of the finest in 2013. It's such a good move to bring it to PS4.
Why? Why is that a good move? It is a good move for them to make money, that's for sure. I'm not sure why is that a good move for the gamers. Better graphics?

I did not play GTAV because I was waiting for a "next-gen" re-release. Despite its wonderful sales and so forth this was the case for a lot of gamers. Also if the world, if the experience, both online and off, is as enjoyable as everyone says it is then why not experience it on a better platform? There is more to just the PS4 and Xbox One than "better graphics."

Well my Xbox 360 console just gave up on me and it hasn't worked since and I have been really thinking about getting a PS4 so I think that when I get the new console that I would just pick up GTA 5 in the process of it all. I really like this game and I am really mad that my console stopped working but I guess that it did its time and it is time to let it go.

That's what I'm trying to get into. I'm not sure re-releasing the same games into two gens is a good thing or not. I think the PS4 needs new games for sure, but releasing PS3 games on it seems a bit too much for me to digest.

For whatever reason--money--this is now a norm. To be honest, it annoys me, but at the same time I have not played a lot of PS3 games and would gladly play them on my PS4. Besides, not only is it easier to re-release games and make more money to fund projects, but it also gives devs the chance to play around with the tech.

True. Reminds me of that episode of Game Theory. You need to make games that will bring in money so you can fund new projects and "innovate" in them. Also, the devs playing around the tech is a really good reasons actually. I did not think of that.

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the few games I'll accept a re-release of onto a next gen platform. I think the game was truly meant for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Increasing the graphics, the draw distances, and maybe throwing in some extra features would make this game absolutely incredible. I have yet to play it, but I've seen tons of gameplay videos for the older gen consoles, so I'm excited to get it on PS4 to say the least.

I'm not really excited for it.

I won't pick it up unless a lot of my friends have it. £50 for a new title I don't mind. £50 for something I've already played and experienced, I'll pass.

I'm in agreement. Though if all my friends got it, I'd still pass. I'm getting kind of sick of these PS3 and Xbox titles getting better graphics and re-released on next gen. All my years of gaming, this is the first time I've ever seen this happen. The next gen is supposed to be about showing off new IPs and wow the consumers with the capabilities of computing power and graphics. The effect is lost when I've already played the damn game. Better graphics don't do it for me. It gives me no new experience and I won't pay full price for a game I already played. If I lost the disc, ok, maybe. But not to get better graphics.
