Have you ever bought a game and then gotten rid of it before playing?

My PS2 died on my after a while, but not until after I bought the first Xenosaga game. I still don't know if it's any good because I never got the chance to play it before my console stopped working. I had a few other games that I never finished, because I eventually decided to trade in/sell all of my PS2 games since there's no way I would be able to get another one. I used to have a paper route, which is how I paid for my PS2 to begin with, but when it died I had no source of income. Has this kind of thing happened to anyone else?

Only a couple of times really.

Duke Nukem Forever and Forza 4. I had them for almost a year and was just not interested in playing them. Still feel that way too so I don't really regret trading them off.

When I was about eight years old, I had just a Playstation 1, but the PS2 was out by this time. A friend kept telling me to get the game RPG Maker for Playstation, so I convinced my mom to take me to Gamestop to buy it. Little did I know, it was a PS2 only game. Needless to say, I never got to play it.

I do feel a bit guilty about not being able to play those games, but it wasn't really by choice either. I wouldn't have bought the game if I didn't plan on actually playing it. It just seems like a big waste because I went through all the trouble of finding and buying the game, and then ended up trading it in for a fraction of what it was worth.

Xenosaga is really good, just my opinion.

And no, i don't think that i ever done such a thing. When i buy a game, i already know what it's going to be about, so i always have fun with it.
