Hey guys, not sure if this is the best place to post this but I'll give it a go. I have this really annoying problem that whenever the home phone rings, if I'm gaming, the game will lag until the phone is answered. I have 2 phone lines. One which connects my router and one that connects the phone. They are in separate rooms. I have a filter on the phone line that connects the phone but not on the router line. I've tried putting a filter on the router line but the problem persists. And I've bought a 'interference free' phone and new filters so I have no idea what the problem is. Any help will be appreciated!!! Thanks

Its possible that your lines are carrying strange electric charges. I have a friend who just had to have the cable company redo all the lines outside his house and so his router because of some sort of charge issue that would cause his entire service to go down. This is definitely something that you will need a better man than I to answer.

Yeah I agree with the others. You may have some line issues, because that should not be happening at all. You will have to call and see if they can help you with that information. I am sure that they will be able to help you. Good Luck on getting what you need.

If you contact your internet service provider, Im sure they could fix this problem for you. Must be crossing signals and experiencing interference from it.

Never experienced that myself, but I assume your ISP will be able to provide a solution.

Is your router in the first phone socket that comes into the house ? I,ve known issues because the phone is literally before the router, try it and see if it makes a difference.
