Hey New Game Freak from Africa

Hey guys, I'm Shyne from africa, being a game freak and player since like 10. Now I'm a grown man and I've witness the transition from generation to generation with different console. The Nintendo days to the playstation. Now I'm really loking for to getting my PS4 after I let my PS3 go. I'm really finding it hard to let that go as there haven't being so much news about the PS4 in africa.

I'm thinking of ordering but would be really interested in getting first hand reviews and user experience, that would be the reason why I'm here, I'm really looking forward to meeting some crazy game players like me who are on the PS4 already. They could really have an influence on me getting the PS4 so fast.

Hi Shyne! Welcome to the forums-You'll definitely get a lot of good advice/reviews about the PS4 on here. I know what you mean about finding it hard to let go of your PS3. I remember the day that I went to trade in my PS2 and all of my games. I seriously almost turned around and walked back out because I didn't want to let them go! I was definitely glad that I did in the end though, as the PS3 that I bought was so much better and up to date with current technology that it made for a much better gaming experience.

I know how it feels already because it was like that when I made the swap from the PS to PS2. Though, I didn't do the same for the PS3, which I bought outright, just so that I can be sure that the upgrade was worth it. That feeling of being unsure or uncertain if you definitely want the upgrade is what I'm going through.

The PS4 is worth it, I know because I have watched a lot of videos on youtube. What I'm scared of is not getting the true value of my PS3 from who I'll have so sell to. Anyway, I've made up my mind to get the new console but it's going to be around the end of the first quarter of the year, by then there should have being a good drop in sales price. LOL.
