How is the Ps4?

So much indecision here. I have both a PS3 and a PS4. For perspective, I play my PS4 just about every night, and only turn my PS3 on when my friends wants to team up in COD Ghosts. That's maybe once a month.
Just this week, on PS4, I have played COD Ghosts, Watchdogs, Destiny Alpha, and the Battlefield hardline beta. Sure some of these are not system sellers, but they are still far better on the PS4 than on the PS3.

Don't you think you will get biased answers here? Anyhow, I do think its a great console. It just needs a few more good titles.

I think most of us early adopters think that the "not many great games out yet" criticism is fair. It applies to both the XB1 and PS4 though. If we're still having this same complaint a year from now, then it will be a problem. People won't convert until devs do.

I think a lot depends on how many PS3 big releases you have played.
For me I missed Assassins Creed Black Flag, Rayman, Tomb Raider, FIFA (for several years), Need For Speed (missed the last few versions), The Last Of Us and Final Fantasy 14 on PS3 so there were several AAA titles that I wanted to play.
I gave up on PS3 just after purchasing GTA 5 and GT6 which were the big hitters I really wanted so when finished those bought my PS4.
For me with these titles and the free PS+ games (Resogun & Trine are my faves) there is plenty to play.
I have also bought Infamous (worth it just for the beauty of the game and photo mode) and Watchdogs (good fun game but not technically that impressive).

For me almost too much to play when you include the free to play games Warframe, War Thunder and DC Universe Online.
Then again I work full time so game maybe a couple of hours most evenings and weekends - if you have played all the best PS3 games and biggest recent releases then I would agree with the other posters here and say the most impressive games look like 2015 releases (Bloodborne, Batman, The Witcher 3).
It's difficult to say what you should do but have a look at the games and then decide for yourself.
I've not regretted my PS4 purchase for even a second - slick and fast to use, downloads automatically updates, Joypad is way better especially audio jack and boy when you get Neon in Infamous will you sit back and just think "Wow for £350 I get a game like this?!!!!!!".

I love my PS4. I picked it up on launch and have been playing it non-stop since then. Thanks to the Target B2G1 deal, I was able to pick up 6 games. I also rented ACIV from GameFly, so I have about 10 games right now if you factor in the PSN freebies. I'm not too impressed by the cross-gen ports, especially Madden and Ghosts, however, other ports like FIFA are pretty good. The three next-gen games (NBA 2K14, Killzone, and Knack) are awesome. Knack is fun, however, it feels like a glorified tech demo. It doesn't seem like it will take too long to beat, so I'll just trade that in once I'm done with it. I have yet to play any game on line. So ya, I'm really enjoying my PS4 right now.
Just got my PS4 a couple of weeks ago and I've been playing it every night since. It's the best console for gaming. I considered getting an Xbox one since my last console was an Xbox 360 but decided against it because it's not dedicated to gaming. I buy gaming consoles just to play games, so the whole idea of doing other things in it doesn't appeal to me. That, plus, 1080p is always better than 720p.

The PS4 is really good and shows consoles are getting better and better over the year and this PS4 is great value to be honest.
The free games on the PS network are great aswell and the exclusives are just amazing.

I think the PlayStation 4 is a fine console and it's worth ever penny that it costs. It plays game well and the price is just right, what more could you ask for. The PlayStation 4 is definitely better than the Xbox One, that's for sure. I would definitely recommend the PlayStation 4 to anyone looking to buy a console right now.
