Hows your PSP?

Hey guys!

I firmly believe that the Playstation Portable revolutionized the way that portable games are played. It played an important role towards the rise of portable gaming, and eventually, mobile gaming. I was one of the many kids who were lucky enough to buy a PSP. I loved it! I spent every single minute with it. Unfortunately, it died in the flood.

How about you? Did you own a PSP? How is it?

Discuss.

I still own a PSP, but I haven't played it for a long time. Either it's a lack of interest, or maybe I just lost interest in playing video games overall. Then again, even if I hadn't lost interest, the battery on my PSP is already quite old and aging, and therefore I will have to keep my PSP plugged into a power outlet. Besides, the only games that I have for the PSP are the two Star Ocean remakes.

I owned one until I lost it somewhere. I agree that it brought handheld gaming to a new standard, especially once all the modding came to play. I was amazed at what people were doing with their PSPs, probably because it was such a stable and versatile hardware.

Star Ocean is one of my all-time favorite games. Asides from the great storyline, I really loved the combat system. I wish they'd make a remake for the PC, although that would be very unlikely. Nonetheless, if my PSP would work again, I would love to play the game.

I owned a PSP for less than a year. I got it for Christmas with Valkyrie Profile. I played it a little bit and mainly used it for an MP3 player the rest if the time. As a teen, I obviously had to be picky with the games I chose because I didn't have tons of money. Most of the games I wanted were on the DS. I eneded up selling my PSP to my cousin.

I got one for Christmas, 2008. It was the Ratchet and Clank version (it was the white one). Too bad it got 'barrowed' by one of my Mom's boyfriend's friends and pawned in July, 2009...and I never got one ever since.
