I want to download my movies! !

Anyone else think it was a bad idea to stream purchased movies instead of letting us download them? First of all, you need a really good connection to watch or it will go in and out of focus. Secondly I would like to have my movies atleast on a hard drive. I mean I'm paying the same price as if I bought the actual dvd in a store which comes in a case. I don't want movies I pay for floating around in a cloud somewhere.

My internet connection is made of amazing, I've never had any problems with the streaming. Though yes, I do admit that I would prefer downloading the movies and being able to watch them when I chose. We had a pretty bad blackout here and everything was running on generators but not our internet. So I would have loved being able to watch movies without the streaming.

I agree, you should definitely be given an option to download it onto your system if you're paying full price for it. I certainly wouldn't pay full price for something that feels like I'm only renting. I highly recommend writing to whichever company is responsible so they will know your concerns.

I have missed feeling on this one. I have a consistent 50mbps downstream that is very reliable and I stream movies but the rights to cloud media purchased tend to be troubling at best.

I think Netflix and Amazon Prime instant are great but I prefer digital copies of media that I can copy to my NAS and stream to multimedia devices even though the PS4 currently is not one of those devices.

Streaming is better, it doesn't take up the space that a download would. I know having the option is nice for people with bad connections, but as a Netflix user I prefer not having everything I watch have to be stored only to be later deleted by me.

Yeah I get your point on storage copacity. They should atleast make it an option I guess.
