Is the 3DS worth it?

I want to get a handheld game system and I know the 3DS is one of the newest handheld consoles. Is it worth the extra expense to get the 3D features? Is it really that neat? Or would I be better off just getting a regular DS?

I have one, and the 3D gives me a headache so I mostly play with it turned off. Unless you want a game that is exclusive for the 3DS, I'd recommend just getting a DS.

I don't really use the 3D on my 3DS and I put off getting the system for awhile. It's only when there were some more titles
released that I wanted to play that I bought myself one. Also my DS had broken to I needed a system to play my DS games.

I honestly don't play that any titles for the 3DS and do have more games for the DS than the 3DS but it is a great little console
and with the release of more good titles I am having trouble saving up enough money to buy them all.

I have also noticed eye strain and headaches whilst using the 3D feature on the 3DS. I think it's a great feature but it just doesn't agree with me at all. It seems this is quite a common problem though so I'm not the only one. I hope they eventually improve this by changing the flicker rate or something like that. Overall I think it is worth the money, but be sure about the 3D feature if that is your main selling point. Perhaps try it in a store first to see how it fairs with you.
