Is this game worth buying on PS4?

I should start by saying that I believe that this game is amazing. I have never played it myself, but I've seen many Let's Play's on Youtube, and I really liked the whole survival concept of the game. However, I believe that playing this game on such a powerful system like the PS4 is an overkill. The game isn't resource heavy at all, you could even play it on an average PC right now, so why bother buying it on PS4?

I don't really see a reason to buy it on a console. The art style is suited to a smaller screen, and as you said, it's not a complex or hardware-intensive game. I'd expect to see it sell really well on phones before consoles. Still, it might be good to have a physical copy if you want to give it as a gift or something.

I'm curious if this game will have trophies, and if it does I'd be more likely to pick it up. I'm a big fan of roguelike games and Don't Starve falls under this category somewhat, so I wouldn't be against buying it twice. Sometimes developers add other new features to ports, so there's always that possibility as well. One more thing to consider is controller support, maybe the game will feel a lot nicer playing on PS4 vs PC.

If you've already played it on the PC then I don't see any reason to purchase it on the PS4. If it was free for a PS Plus member then yeah I would say getting the game would be fine. But unless they add something new to it then I couldn't recommend the purchase. Games like Contrast I push hard because it's free for PS plus members.

Personally, I think diablo 3 plays a lot better with a controller with dual analog sticks, instead of a mouse and keyboard. It also doesn't seem very graphically demanding, but it can be in later levels where hundreds of monsters are on screen at a time. The ps3 struggled occasionally, the ps4 should handle it perfectly though.

Heavily recommend this game. It's actually very fun. Don't try to win, just try not to die. It takes a bit to get the hang of it, but quite entertaining.

It really is more of a "play to survive" game than a "play to win" one that makes up 99% of titles. I recommend it to everyone if they don't have it on PC already.

I cannot agree with your statement that it is amazing. I was a huge D2 fan, but sadly D3 just left me wanting. That being said, I wouldnt buy it on console the game style in general is just better suited to a mouse and keybaord then it is for a console. I would personally just play it on PC

This. One-million times over, this. I still play D2! However, early impressions, comments, etc. say that the D3 console version is the one to buy.

I was not a big fan of Diablo 3, and I had a lot of complaints when it was released. That being said, it was a beautiful game with amazing art and more than worthy of PS4 specs if you enjoy it. A PS3 version couldn't have possibly captured the graphics of a middle of the range PC.

I haven't played the game since the big changes they made recently, and I've never played it on console, so I can't speak to that.

As someone who has already played this game on PC, I would say go for it. The best part about it is you can play it offline on consoles while PC players have to stay online to play it.

I think it is a lot more fun on the PS4 than a computer. The controls with the controller work really well and its great to be able to sit back with a big screen and kick butt.
