Just Cause 3 Announced!

Get ready for more mayhem in JUST CAUSE 3! Officially announced by Game Informer (it will be on their December issue cover)

Here's some more information:

Just Cause 3 is set in the Mediterranean, but its locale is just one deviation from its numbered predecessor. Although the new map is about the same size as Just Cause 2's in terms of area, Avalanche's "volumetric terrain" adds more verticality to the new world –– players can not only descend into subterranean caverns, but climb towering structures that change up the relatively flat experience of Just Cause 2, according to the most recent issue of Game Informer Magazine.

It should also be noted that this entry will be a single-player only experience.

The game is on course for a 2015 release on the PS4!

Can't wait. I've never played the original or second, but I've heard great things about them. Definitely picking this one up.

Great game, brings back memories of JC2, same fun factor. Improved graphics and mechanics too.

I had heard the name of this series before but never played it or even looked into the game. Is this an open world game? If so how is it for replay value? Lots to do, lots of trouble to get in? Are you on foot the whole time, no cars?

Well I can answer my own question now regarding the game. Lots to do, though it is all pretty much just blowing things up... which is fun! Lots of cars to steal, but who wants to do that when you can fly around the island?? Variety of vehicles of boats to fighter planes.

I actually hate the driving in the game, but everything else makes up for it. The levels are repetitive, but again you forget all that when you are blowing everything up.
