Lag

When I play Battlefield 4, or pretty much anything that requires the internet, it basically doesn't work. On the off chance that it does, it lags like crazy and I eventually lose connection. I know that lag is bound to happen at some point, but mine is really bad. Is there anything I could do to make the lag not as bad? I have already tried buying a new internet box or whatever they're called and that didn't help much. Thanks.

The lag depends on your connection speed. If it's too slow, you get lag.

Assuming that your ISP gives you a bandwidth of 7Mbps, a decent speed to play with the PS4 in multiplayer is at least 5Mbps, so you should check if your router is able to deliver it to your console. If not, try to disconnect other devices that might be connected to you home LAN (example PCs, smartphones, tablets, TV, printers, etc.). Also be sure that your PS4 is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi.

To test your connection speed just make a search on Google for 'dsl speedtest' and click one of the sites available.

I'm here for further help if you might need it :)
