Latest Purchases Thread

I have GH WoR for PS3,with hundreds of additional songs from other GH game imported tracks,as well as some bought ones.
(Same with RB3)

I know you meant FC Wild Expedition, and no. I didnt buy it. At this point in time I dont plan too.

Rock Band 3 is so hard to find locally!

I had RB,RB2,ACDC RB but Ive imported the tracks to my RB3 and sold the others off.(Also bought a few tracks from PSN store too so have hundreds of tracks to play on RB as well).
The hardest one to find should be RB2,as it wasnt even released in AUS at all. Had to get the UK version.I say UK version as its compatible with importing tracks from AUS version RB games as well tracks from AUS PSN store. US version is'nt.

Someone gave me Dead Rising, but I'm not really..."feeling" it at all. Got WWE 2K14 and repurchased Oblivion: GOTY Edition since you can find that for the low-low now.

Managed to pick up the very last one of this edition in store:

Cannot wait to start it! Big South Park fan here :)

I'd like to hear your opinion of it as well. A couple of my friends got it. They said if you're a fan of the show its awesome as you feel you are in an episode. I want to get it but I'm working on a couple games myself.

I'm going through 'South Park : The Stick Of Truth' at the moment. I was going to leave my thoughts under the PS3 games section, but it seems to be missing everything after K?! Well, for me at least…

Obviously I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it yet or may have only just started it, but all I'll say is that as a fan of the series (almost from day one, actually!), it's superb.

No, the controls aren’t much good and it’s a bit 2D/limited in that respect - almost like an old Sega Megadrive platformer, but it’s goes about it's business just like the show. Same voice actors and actresses too, so you do get the sense you're interacting within a huge episode. It's been done in about the best way I can think of. If you enjoy the show, it's immensely enjoyable and I would recommend it to any South Park fan. There's more detail in it than you initially think when starting out.

I won't give any plot spoilers but it's genuinely amusing the further along you get (I'm about three and a half, maybe four hours in). Cartman's antics have cracked me up with laughter more than once and there's an event in the game which turns some of your enemies into something a little special – typically South Park…typically Cartman! Think of who he's aspired to be in past episodes and you may get where I'm coming from. You would have to know the show to get the humour value but so far, it's certainly a decent 8/10 game for me. I may knock that up half a point or so when completed. It depends on a few factors...

There's not a whole lot that I don't like about it. The downsides? The fighting element does get a little repetitive but there's several different ways you can go about it…

I was wondering about that game. I've heard it's a pretty fun one to play. I'll have to check it out after I beat a few other games.

Oh, and as for the game boards, I'm adding them now since we didn't have them up before. So they all should be up there in a few days! :)

I've heard that The Stick of Truth was fun. My cousin said it was the best of the South Park games (as if there was stiff competition).

Someone gave me Dead Rising, but I'm not really..."feeling" it at all. Got WWE 2K14 and repurchased Oblivion: GOTY Edition since you can find that for the low-low now.

I managed to get Oblivion: GOTY for about $9 (including shipping).

Recent purchases: Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Sigma 2 earlier today.

I got some older games that I've been meaning to pick up for a looong time, but newer games always popped up. Saint's Row 3, Backbreaker, New Vegas, and Just Cause 2.

Those are some good ones. I even liked Backbreaker. My recent purchases include: Batman Arkham City, some Skyrim DLC, and WWE 2K14.

I always wanted to try Backbreaker. It's just a standard football game, but I like the created team universe, really. It's the same thing that drew me to APF 2K8.

I also have Backbreaker (although it's on the Xbox 360) but I really enjoy that game. More then its sequel.

Just picked up South Park stick of truth yesterday, and played for 4 hours straight. It felt like 5 minutes. I really think this is the best game I have ever played. I'm not even a huge southpark fan either. Its just really fun and entertaining at the same time. Its like watching a TV show that you are in control of.

I got Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. I never did play them when they were popular, but I managed to find both fairly cheap.

GTA5. Bought it a few months ago, but didn't had to buy another game so far as I managed to get about 2 weeks of full gameplay already - and I still don't have the 100%. Wouldn't give this game away.

Well at this time I purchased Dark souls II and Beyond two souls. These are the games that I recently purchased and I got a few for my psp. I heard that the beyond two souls was a good game, so I decided to try it for myself.

GTA V is a game I'd keep for my collection even after finishing. It'd go in the Legacy Circle.
