Mad Max

This one surprised me. When the trailer started I thought "A Mad Max game?" And then the title was shown. Look forward to this. I wonder if it will tie in with the new Mad Max film starring Tom Hardy?

At first i thought it was a new fallout game, but seeing that easily recognizable shoulder plate, i was left pretty confused. We know that the game is being made by the same guys that made Just Cause 2, so we can expect a pretty awesome game.

All I know from that trailer, is Max is a real dick apparently. There's no lead in to whether or not that guy is a raider or not, aside from the spikes on his armor. And Max just runs him over, what a jerk!

I am so glad I'm not the only one who thought Fallout at first! My VATS finger started itching for a few seconds there...

This game could be a serious 50/50. If done right, with just the right mix of open world gameplay and Mad Max fan service, they could have the start to a great series. I am a bit concerned that it will end up...bland, though. I am sure Avalanche Studios will make a good game, but they really are going to have to do an existing franchise justice, which they haven't had to do yet (Just Cause, The Hunter, Renegade Ops were all original IPs). Either way, I am probably going to end up buying it.

Just Cause 2 was pretty good, although the vehicles were pretty poor to be honest. Judging by the trailer of this game, it looks to be really cool. I have a list of games that I want to buy, and so I will be adding this to that list. I see the resemblance to Fallout too!

Mad Max. Isn't this a movie grin the 80s or 90s? I saw my uncle watching the movie and the first thing that caught my attention was the hairstyle. Lol. Well, I know that this game would be modernized so I'm looking forward to a great fun ride. I hope that it won't be another bad movie tie in.

Yep. Started in the late 70's and had two more sequels in the 80's I believe?

I really also hope it won't be a bad movie tie in. Considering it was announced at E3 and being developed for the next gen, I have high hopes.

Just thinking about the recently released Fast and Furious 6 game tie in makes me worry a little bit. I have not played the game but I have read some reviews and watched some videos of it. It sucked big time. If Mad Max will not continue the trend of bad movie tie ins, then I'll definitely check it out. Oh by the way, will this be a PlayStation exclusive?

The coming out for Mad Max has been delayed to the end of september (18th sept. in Europe).
