Max Payne 3

Rockstar are my favourite developers yet this game seems to of passed me by. I played maybe 30 mins of it just after it's release but got distracted by other games at the time.

Hoping to grab this game tomorrow. I wanted to know your thoughts if you have played this.

Been playing Red Dead Redemption basically non-stop so will be switching from that to MP3. Another reason I want to play is that I remember the online being fun and seeing the two new GTA V gameplay trailers, it looks like the shooting mechanics and general gameplay are influenced by Max Payne 3 so I wanted to be brought "up to speed".

Hey Haze, you should definitely go back to htis game some time and finish it. I would rate this 9/10. One of the best SP games in my opinion. Shooting people in the head so satisfying for some unapparent reason

Oh man! You really missed out on one of Rockstar's gems! This is one of THE most amazing third person shooter out there!

The bullet time is so amazing, and makes the whole game really majestic. You're gonna love it, I can guarantee it. I loved playing each and every moment of it and it was a complete treat.

And this is one game which has really epic multiplayer as well. That's why I'm so excited that it's gun mechanics are getting included in GTA V as well.

I think it missed the grim out of the previous game, but still a pretty fun game and the multiplayer is a good time waster with a few good mechanics that i hope Rockstar uses again on GTA V.

Well, I can certainly say that my experience with Max Payne 3 has been a terrible one unfortunately . The game has frozen on me more then 5 times, both single player and multiplayer. And now, after making a bit of progress, my saved game has just been completely wiped!

Nope. I'm done with Max Payne 3.

Sorry about that - could it be you just got an unfortunate copy? If not... well sometimes a console hates a particular game - my PS2 simply could not abide dealing with Final Fantasy X. Do you have another platform you could play it on? Maybe PC? I really do recommend this game, and it does have a lot to recommend it.

It was a brand new copy so I don't think it would have anything to do with the disc. I think my PS3 just hates the game, but apparently I'm not alone as I've looked elsewhere online to figure the problem and it's happened to soooo many people unfortunately. I do have it on the Xbox 360, so maybe one day I'll wipe off the dust on that console and try it there
